Closed; no longer allows overnight parking.
.....
Cracker Barrel parking in back. usually two to three RVs are parked here per night. it's a nice area with trees and a lawn in the back where your dog can do its business before getting back in the car. a little noisy with the highway behind you but the trees mask it a bit.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
mixed comments so I called them. they no longer allow overnight parking due to city ordinance.
Report Check-InSeveral no overnight parking signs present. Was told by a man with an RV here that he had spoken to the general manager at this location, that they will be fining overnighters and that it is not permitted to sleep here. Decided to take a chance as there were many other vans rvs etc. no issues but may not be for long.
Report Check-InWent here at 3pm, several no overnight parking signs are up.
No other RVs or vans there, I just left.
Lots of RVs vans and car campers. Definitely hear the road noise, but the parking lot is large enough to spread out.
Report Check-Inspots are a bit slim around these parts. were planning on staying in the solitude parking lot but got told there's no overnight parking... so we went to the cracker barrel closest to the ski hills, still a bit of a drive away.. but beats paying $200 + a night for one of the lodges..
didn't ask as there was already 3 RVs and two smaller Vans in the back parking lot.
been here a few times while in the area, fairly quiet place to stay (besides some highway noise) never have had any problems. don't over stay your welcome.
Report Check-InGreat place to park in a safe place for the night.
Don’t abuse this by leaving trash or acting like it is a personal campsite. I’m in the area for a month or so and am grateful for such a great place to park for the nights.
Here for the night. I work remotely so nice to park, finish working and sleep. Aside from the hwy noise it's fine. 2 RVs, 2 Vans, 2 other vehicles... so pretty spread out. I don't know the area so I get nervous about what 'part of town I'm in' (solo female traveler) but haven't heard much aside the traffic and there are no random cars coming and going so I feel pretty comfortable. Standard CB parking lot... not much else to say except it's F*ing hot in SLC tonight LOL
Report Check-InStayed here for free last night, no problems. There were other RV’s and sprinter vans parked here too. It was a Saturday so some kids were lighting off fireworks nearby- nothing earplugs couldn’t fix though!
Report Check-Ingreat place to spend the night, quite a few other vehicles there, too
Report Check-Ingood place to stay. a few others stayed the night. noise from highway
Report Check-InGreat place, close to airport. Many other RVs in the parking lot. Quiet overnight with some highway noise.
Report Check-InSeveral Overlanders here last night. A good place to sleep. Dedicated pull through spots for big rigs. Fast open wifi at the Crystal Inn across the street.
NPR at 90.1.
Report Check-InPretty large lot around the back. Some highway noise but not bad. A few vans and RVs parked overnight.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night. Maybe 6 units when we were here. Make sure to have a meal in the restaurant or visit the gift shop.
Report Check-InAs previously said, a lot of vans and RVs. Quiet, and level. Thanks Cracker Barrel !
Report Check-InBusy place. There were 5 vans, a skoolie, old Class A and several people in cars. They have a big lot. Some noise from highway.
Report Check-InStopped here for a night- tons of vans and RVs. Not any louder than your average city camping spot.
Report Check-InPopped by on a weeknight & had a quiet night’s rest. There were various travel vehicles, from a minivan to full motor homes. There is a sign pointing RV’s to the back. I parked under a street light and felt safe, as a single woman.
Report Check-InWas loud asf at night. Idk if it was the time of year or it being a friday. But when I pulled in it looked like an rv park free for all. People parked right next to each other in cars, vans, busses, and rvs. People hacking and coughing all night, dogs crying in the pull behind cars. Its of course Cracker Barrel. But out of the 3-4 I’ve stayed at this one was by far the worst sleep. Again maybe my experience but I’d avoid if I roll through here again.
