great place to camp. easy to find, road a little muddy in areas, to be expected. plenty of space in between camping pull outs. we had cell service. not too much road noise but the second night someone drove by the sites honking at 3AM, turned around to do it again.

Sign indicates the usual 14 day limit. Quite a few sites, most with fire rings but I'm not sure if the fire bans are ever lifted here as there's many signs and warnings posted. No bathrooms, but there are several trailhead parking lots with pit toilets along the same road. It is a little narrow and rocky to get back to some of the sites so bigger rigs may struggle. There's a gravel lot where one larger RV set up camp just fine. Adequate Verizon service.

Fine for a 1 night stay. We arrived at 8pm and left by 8am. No issues. Quiet yet residential. Small parking area. Stay away from the ramp. Totally easy for a van.

I forgot to add. There was excellent signal with Vodacom and I was able to do some work and make Skype calls.
He also said there was no change to stay, but we insisted he take at least 500met from us to go towards the landscaping he was working on.

Cool, place, a bit tricky to get to. We made a road marker turn point on here as we ran into some other ppl trying to find this road and maps.me and google take you through the village up thr road.
The last.4kms or so will require crafty 4x4 sand driving or just deflate the tyres.
Owners a nice, getting old and looking to retire. Place is for sale for 4-million Rand. Said it can hold up to 300 campers and used to fill during holidays before covid. no one had been here in awhile, we showed up unannounced. They had to clean the bathroom and would need to start the generator for power. Asked 100Rand/person. On checkout they said 75rand/person as the place was kind of not ready for us. We still paid the 200Rand, as they could use it right now. Overall good with nice sea views :)

Hotel and restaurant outside the city center. I ended up here because I arrived in Jardin on Easter weekend and literally the entire town was booked. Actually quite a nice place. Plenty of parking with no size restrictions and covered motorcycle parking behind the building. I did not ask about sleeping in your vehicle, but Julian the manager is a very nice guy and they have plenty of room, I'm sure he could be talked into it. At first he was going to let me tent camp because all their rooms were full but as I was eating dinner and resting before setting up he told me he had a cancelation and I could take a room. 100.000cop for 1 person for a nice private room and bathroom with hot shower. A bi
t expensive but Jardin is expensive in general and I think I got their best room and it was also Easter weekend so prices may have been higher than usual. I believe they also have a dorm but it was full.

Restaurant is basic menu ejuctivo type food but good and cheap. Full service bar open til 10 and if you want something later you can knock on Julian's door. Wifi only in the restaurant but fast.

Our place is located 1 km from Bolivar park -10-15min walking distance. The house is a simple Bolivian family house. If you are looking for a basic acomodation with warm showers, clean rooms, internet and a nice family to welcome you, you've chosen the right place to stay.

Due to the land dispute discussed in other posts about the El Pinecate craters, this road is blocked with boulders. Do not try to pass. Coming from the south (Puerto Penasco) you have to go around via Mex 8 and Mex 2. Coming from the north (the craters) you will need to backtrack a mediocre, soft sand, dirt road.

Beautiful quiet spot in front of a private home. Owner charged me $20 for the night (one person and truck camper) and said I could use the shower and sink to do dishes in her home for an extra $5. Call before you arrive, current number located in Google info.

Just arrived late and parked up a few hundred metres from the road. Large open spot on the cliff top is just about visible from road but unlikely anyone will see us at night. There is a dip/ravine with turn-off in it which seems to be the way to the beach. We took a road at the top of this dip on the south side which is a cliff top road. We will head back and check out the beach spot in the morning. Very windy on the cliff top but beautiful views. Easy 2wd access with roads going further for the brave.

You can stay here in the off season for free, but there are no services (water is shut off). Very clean pit toilets, and bins. 32 very generously sized drive in sites, with picnic benches and fire pits. Number 16 is a small site but has a covered table. Site seems designed for accessibility - even the beach access. Easy walk to Pasuta shipwreck. Highly recommend.

Stayed overnight in a 30ft bus. No issues. It’s unlevel and some street noise but it’s to be expected. Good for crashing for a night.

Arrived at 10, left at 6 in my not-so-stealthy rv. Very quiet and green stretch of road. There’s maybe a half mile stretch of this road with parking on each side so it won’t fill up. There must have been a dozen other campers in relative degrees of incognito right around us, so clearly on the beaten path.

After walking through, I brought my 25' trailer in to a spot by the bridge. There is some deep sand here and there so be careful. Close to town, and it's such a cute town! Spotty verizon, but it worked.

Keep going on 88, about 15 min or so past Tortilla Flats. The road is still pavement - hasn’t turned into dirt yet. We turned into the first spot but there are a few more down the road.

Careful going there with Maps.ME, it made me going all around the hill for no reasons. It's only 10km and I had fun driving my Jeep around the very rough dirt road, but my wife was less amused!

Amazing hole in the wall restaurant! Fantastic food and attention to detail for a fraction of the cost of most of the highly rated/popular spots in town. Very friendly owners. Local ingredients and very clean! They even threw together vegan tacos for us - which were so good! I cannot recommend it enough.

Friendly welcome but little English spoken. Food was good. Paid TL 150 for a campervan with 2 people. Toilets and shower clean but shower only cold. We were the only guests.

Great budget hotel option right in the zocalo. Basic room with comfy bed, en-suite, and pedestal fan. Hot water and wifi all fine.

Bicycles were fine to take into the room, but you may have to lift them over the bed to find a good spot to situate them.

We stayed for one night. We paid $350 pesos for the night, spots closer to the beach were $450 pesos. They had a flushing toilet and showers available, though we did not use the showers. There were many toilets on site, but all were closed except one, which we found odd. There were approximately 4 other campers there while we were there. The owner was very lovely, and spoke good English, though she appreciated our efforts to speak Spanish.

The geothermal activity on the beach was phenomenal and was a highlight! We brought our shovel and dig out a little hot tub. This area is a hidden gem. Look up high and low tide times and if you can time it, arrive 1-2 hours before low tide and find an area with warm sand. This area is right outside Campo Meneses and La Joya beach camp. Start digging at the edge of the warm sand, if you dig in the middle of the warm sand it will be way too hot! As the tide goes out, you will see a large area of sand that is constantly steaming from the heat.

Also wanted to add that Lupitas is about 5km away and has awesome fish tacos for about 27 pesos each! They were delicious!
