kimbacat | Rest area. The picnic area has a no overnight parking sign. I’m parked very stealth over near the rest area sign in a CRV - rest rooms. Try the Happy Burger Diner across the street if hungry. |

bras.lorene | Still 3$ for a shower, there is open and close shower in the women locker room. Very clean, staff is very friendly. We were there around 6:30 pm and I was pretty quiet. Check the hours on the website first. |

roamingabout.com | Can park here and walk to the falls. This seems to be the main entrance, but see our other spot for more info on other parking, a trail, and a pool. |
Cascada de Paluz - Main entrance | 0.62048, -77.84949
roamingabout.com | There is a spring fed small public swimming pool with showers (cold) and bathrooms. There is a trail to the waterfall to the right of the bathrooms up the hill. Nice short walk (10 min) to a beautiful park and waterfall. Bathrooms, grills, picnic tables, trash cans. Seems to be free. Way to go Ecuador! If you are lucky, you will see elves and find a pot of gold.... |

roamingabout.com | This is the turn off to the Grutas de la Paz that is paved and is suitable for any size rig. The road to the North does not go all the way through so don't take it. The road from La Paz is written about in the actual Grutas spot and seems not great for larger rigs. |

roamingabout.com | Still $2/pp. Pay at the tienda near the restaurant and get a ticket, or pay at the pool. During the week was pretty mellow and a nice way to spend an afternoon. The pools are not the prettiest we have spent time in (they are clean and big, but the water color is murky) but the cave is pretty cool and the water in the pools is comfortably warm. We brought our dog with us and was not an issue. |

bras.lorene | Rest area says closed but the truck/Rv parking is open. Haven’t check the bathroom but I think they’re closed. We slept in the truck parking lot with other trucks and car. Arrived at 8:00pm and left around 9:00 am, felt safe. Pretty flat but some wind. |

vanlifebydesign.com | Nice little campground. No room for a big-rig or large pull behind. Tents, vans and small RVs are best. Gravel road to the campground is pretty good. Super quiet and beautiful place. |

melinamuehle | Yesterday we also met the "snakeman" who was a very nice man to talk and not pushing at all, offering his snakeshows which is his business, and probably worth seeing it (we didnt because we had to drive further)... so different experience at all. |

Rooster18 | Every spot along Gemini Trail from the Canyonlands side is closed to camping until you get to the small camping area just west of this spot. All those were full and we had 5 vehicles, so this was our spot for the night. Right on roadside but very little traffic overnight. Very pretty area. |
Gemini Bridges RD | 38.62400, -109.66657
theinformedcitizenak | nice and quite rest area tucked back into the trees and off the I-5. Clean bathrooms, goid size pet friendly area for potty breaks and walking. No sketchy looking vehicles that I could see, but we parked with the big rigs in our RV for the night. |

dan.m.bottomley | Very thorough check of my panniers. All of them. Emptied. Looking for weed. Fruit didn’t seem to be a problem |

dan.m.bottomley | Access gate open. Obviously well used. Not the most appealing spot in the world. Coming from the south it’s first spot off the road Water looks fairly contaminated by cattle farming Rubbish everywhere. As a cyclist, I’d plan to avoid this one. Assuming options north are any better. |

hihosilver.van | Perfectly flat spot with bright lights and access to all of the Equator-related sites. Bathrooms open at 8am. We connected to the wifi but it didn’t work. Very quiet at night. Adjacent to a school so there is quite a bit of activity around 7am. |

nikitadube | The beach is AMAZING—great for swimming, the water is extremely clear and calm. As a solo female, I got a bit creeped out when Benjamin came to my palapa and started hanging out with me. He didn’t ask me for money until I asked him how I could help him. Honestly felt incredibly uncomfortable as I was coming back from swimming and only wearing a bikini. Didn’t even know that he was the caretaker here! Ended up sleeping here anyways, everything was well and he came around around noon to see if I wanted to stay another night. Still felt a bit creeped out as he just stays there without saying anything. Kinda felt like he wanted to hang out? Idk but I was uncomfortable. |

Marshall Road | 43.38054, -70.43188
adrian102 | Beautiful and quiet campground with about 8 spots, each with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and a picnic table. The river runs along the campsite with a bridge connecting both sides. Lots of spots along the river to fish from. It's close to the highway but you can hardly hear the traffic. $10/night. No cell service or water but there was a clean toilet pit. No one was here while I was camping. |
Rocky Campground | 40.72544, -121.42956
Wayne | Very small turnoff, close to a house. Our 22 ft van was at the edge of the road so we had to leave. |
