Several other people in vehicles camping out here. I’m in a van. No “No overnight camping signs”. Other places very close to here by the pier that can accommodate bigger rigs.

Wow. What a nice quiet beach. I was here 7 days. Hahah. Awesome. Had the beach mostly to myself. The ocean water is very warm. Small fires at night. It was lovely.

Margaritas pizzas are great. She has unique combination that really work together. I enjoyed.

The place is a public beach in front of her. She’s not really a bed and breakfast anymore. She rents more long term but could do a night If someone really needed it maybe.

You are on your one here. There are stores and a restaurant in town. Margaritas water is delivered so she helps but Isn’t able to supply for everyone.

Mosquitoes. Yeah if the wind stops then you feel them. The place is not extremely windy. It’s a nice breeze.

I suggest hanging a hammock and enjoy the sounds of the waves

This is a dump station but there is no water available to rinse the tank. We have a cassette toilet and it would be equivalent to dumping into an outhouse.

Edit: we stayed here and spent few nights and it's really amazing place. The owners are really nice, friendly and welcoming. The beach is crazy. The bungalows are amazing. And in their project, they want to create a small campsite for overlanders on the beach. It will be very Nice. We really enjoyed to stay here.

Just as described. If you’re in a van or car then check out the riverside park just NW of it for a nice scenic stop (22 feet vehicle limit)

When I called they said there was a dirt parking lot across from the casino that I could stay at. I saw the smaller privately owned lot that some people mentioned that had a fee, but if you keep going East on 19 / Paint Town Road, there is another dirt lot that Harrah’s owns which doesn’t cost a dime. It’s labeled Lot C, I believe, and says it’s for valet and employee parking. Some RVs were already in there with their slides out, so I knew it was the right place.
I slept in the back of my SUV all night without an issue. The lot filled up more with employees in the morning, so park in back to give them room.
I will note that there was another lot closer to the casino that was kitty-corner to the Pancake House in which people parked their RVs all night. I probably could have stayed there with them. It was a little tricky to get into because there are some barricades that you have to navigate to get into the lot, but I was here for several hours last night before I moved to the other lot. No security came by in all that time.

be careful, impossible to get into the car park at the top of the cotopaxi, whether it is a classic motorhome or a heavy-duty motorhome! only 4x4s can go up! in addition we punctured a tire !! But it’s very beautiful ! Enjoy

Thank you Canadian Tire! I went into the store and spotted this dump site as I was walking back to the van.
Dump and potable water. Easy to find as its parallel to the entry road.

Prices have sure gone up. Paid $200 USD PP for a private tour for 2 days/1 night. And that was for a rustic lodge. Food was OK. Saw lots of wildlife. The sunset on the lake was wonderful. Don’t think we would have done it if it was raining or super hot. The hike is now on a raised wooden walkway, so much faster and can be done in regular footwear..

wide gravel/sand pull out off the side of the highway, adjacent to the great bike trail! we left our van for a few hours. very few options for parking to use the bike path unless starring from downtown talkeetna. the small trailhead lot is also an option for a $5/vehicle day use fee.

The large parking lot area has multiple no camping signs, but if you go a bit further to the dispersed camping there were at least 3 spots with fire rings.

Really nice place with a save parking lot which fits bigger rigs as well (you just have to know how to park). Friendly and helpful staff. Not in the city centre, but close to the telegrafico, a perfect way to read around the cuty. Large room, nice bathroom with hot water. Fast wifi. 75 US dollars for a matrimonial + 10 for the parking space. It is worth it. Incl. great breakfast.
