The road got worse again. We made it to the beginning of the steep turns but even SUV like Toyota RAV struggle here. The road is very washed and steep.

Park on the parking lot of the
Cotopaxi and walk to the Refugio. Steep climbing, good rest in the Refugio and wonderfull views.
be careful, impossible to get into the car park at the top of the cotopaxi, whether it is a classic motorhome or a heavy-duty motorhome! only 4x4s can go up! in addition we punctured a tire !! But it’s very beautiful ! Enjoy
