Went here they directed me to their sales office where I was told they don’t insure foreign cars. Neither does Mapfre

We visited this location, and they mentioned it's the only main office, not the insurance broker. There was no way to get insurance for us here.

This place is at the wrong location but I was unable to get gps reception at the time. Go back towards General San Martin and turn left. It's right by the corner after the bank.

I, unfortunately did not have as much luck. First my vehicle, which is a very standard Jeep, was not in their system, so it took a while. Then I was quoted 933 per month, for a 3 month contract, for a total of 2700. Without much other options, I went for it, but I could only pay cash. I went to the bank next doot, but they were closed for lunch and they also lock the door to the ATMs. I love how progressive Argentina is, even machines get a lunch break! The next bank I found had a limit of 2000, which would not even cover the insurances. Walking further, I found one with a limit of 4000. I went back in to pay and had to wait quite a while since she kept having problems, like requiring an address in Argentina and such. After 2h30, I finally walked out with my insurances.

you can buy vehicle insurance for a non Argentinian vehicle here. our motorhome insurance cost 530 pesos for 6 months. ask for Adrian Quiroga
