katherineletts | Okay place to stay. We parked near the Artico restaurant. The guard gave us a thumbs up and nod as we pulled into a parking space. Some noise in the night, mostly wind. Safe and fine for a night! The bathrooms are located down by the fish market at the Puerto de punta del este marker on google maps 👍🏼 HUGE sea lions |

pfaulkner22 | Nice level site overlooking the valley and mesa, private, with an existing fire ring. Road requires a higher clearance vehicle, but our Sprinter did fine to this point. I would not have traveled beyond this site because of deep sand and the road gets rougher. Can get windy on the ridge, but it’s a great view! Two bars LTE. |

jnekton | great relatively flat lot with pit toilets and fantastic views of the plain and soda lake. no "no" signs but I suspect that you could not overnight here on the weekends. we were here on a Tuesday night and had the lot to ourselves and only one vehicle passed on the road below after 7pm until about 6:30 the next morning. |

tonyl5952 | This place is so much nicer then the other ones in the area. You will need a high clearance vehicle when it's wet. I parked in the back by the pond. Saw a mule deer by the pond when I pulled up. |

la_ruta_de_lucho | Wow. What a nice quiet beach. I was here 7 days. Hahah. Awesome. Had the beach mostly to myself. The ocean water is very warm. Small fires at night. It was lovely. Margaritas pizzas are great. She has unique combination that really work together. I enjoyed. The place is a public beach in front of her. She’s not really a bed and breakfast anymore. She rents more long term but could do a night If someone really needed it maybe. You are on your one here. There are stores and a restaurant in town. Margaritas water is delivered so she helps but Isn’t able to supply for everyone. Mosquitoes. Yeah if the wind stops then you feel them. The place is not extremely windy. It’s a nice breeze. I suggest hanging a hammock and enjoy the sounds of the waves |

paulo-machado | Edit: we stayed here and spent few nights and it's really amazing place. The owners are really nice, friendly and welcoming. The beach is crazy. The bungalows are amazing. And in their project, they want to create a small campsite for overlanders on the beach. It will be very Nice. We really enjoyed to stay here. |
