We spent one night. The place is nice and quiet, but around 11 at night a man was spying through the windows of our motorhome.

When we asked him what he was doing, he said he was security and that he was going to be at the checkpoint. The security people have a blue uniform and this man had nothing, so we believe he was a voyeur.

Pasamos una noche. El lugar es bonito y tranquilo, pero a eso de las 11 de la noche un señor estaba espiando por las ventanas de nuestro motorhome.

Cuando le preguntamos qué estaba haciendo, dijo que era de seguridad y que iba a estar en la garita.

La gente de seguridad tiene un uniforme azul y este señor no tenia nada, así que creemos que era un miron.

We spent a very peaceful night, we felt very safe, clean bathrooms, surveillance, everything as previously described.

Passamos uma noite muito tranquila, nós sentimos bem seguros, banheiros limpos, vigilância, tudo conforme já descrito anteriormente.

Parqueadero UNASUR, nos quedamos 3 noches. Súper seguro, lo único es que a este lado los fines de semana llegan Chivas rumberas, pero hay un parqueadero más arriba, casi en la entrada de la mitad del mundo, pertenece también al parque UNASUR, que es inclinado, pero aquí si no hay nada de ruido. El lugar tiene WiFi gratis, baños muy limpios, agua potable, y un skate Park pequeño. La zona verde y de cafetería se puede usar siempre. Nosotros vamos con 2 perros y 2 gatos y ellos pudieron estar libres aquí. Recomendado.

Big parking lot, locals told us it is save. At Weekends it could be louder, some cars with loud music.

Perfectly flat spot with bright lights and access to all of the Equator-related sites. Bathrooms open at 8am. We connected to the wifi but it didn’t work. Very quiet at night. Adjacent to a school so there is quite a bit of activity around 7am.

Parked here for the night. This parking lot was better than the street parking. Plenty of room for big rigs and more hidden away from people walking on the street and such.

Parking non garde a cote du site mitad del mundo. Calme et secure. Gratuit aucun service mais bon reseau tel. Toilettes a cote de 8h. 17 h

parking bien sympa pour passer une nuit. Wi-Fi, toilettes, à deux pas du site (payant 5$ adulte, 2,5 $ enfant -13 ans). nuit tranquille, cours de zumba le matin. 😄

Nice place to spend one or more days. Can be crowded in weekend indeed but nobody bothers and mostly families. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. Walking distance to mitad del mundo.
We have not experienced loud music, the do have Zumba on Saturday in the morning. Nice to see or participate, nothing annoying at all. Free and open WiFi.
Toilets clean at park(close at 5, weekends 6) 24h toilets at petrol station
Everything Free!

No se si entre semana pase, pero el viernes que llegamos, a las 10 p.m. llegaron unos autos con la música a fondo, terrible!!
Solo porque empezó a llover, se fueron, a eso de las 2 a.m.
y al día siguiente, como a las 7 a.m. o no se si era más temprano, Zumba!! 🤦‍♀️

GRATUITO . Passamos 7 dias nesse estacionamento o lugar é seguro e tranquilo por seguranças 24hr, tem banheiro das 8 as 17:00 da tarde e espaço coberto com churrasqueira. Fica perto de mercado, WesternUnion e conseguimos água no posto aqui do lado. @tome.rumo

We spent few days here with our friends! Really good spot, free parking with security all the time, very friendly people, free city Wi-Fi ( not always working but when works it’s not bad) free toilets, free and very good barbecue grill and space to use!
From here you can go walking to MI COMISARIATO, a very good groceries store, there is also very good options of restaurants and shops around, walking distance and you can leave you motorhome here to go to the Mitad Del Mundo Monument without paying for parking.

It can be really noise since people come here during the night to party with their loud cars. We were lucky that it started rain every night when we were here and it made people go away so we could enjoy the silence and rain noise only!

Passamos 8 dias no estacionamento. Local seguro com câmeras de segurança, seguranças rodam o local dia e noite, banheiro público sempre limpo, porém que fecha das 5pm as 8am. Wi-Fi livre, porém não tem muita qualidade. Perto de mercado, posto de combustível (ponto de água dentro do posto). Seguro

Um dos melhores lugares que já paramos. No parque tem banheiro público (8 as 17h), churrasqueiras públicas (reservar o horário), e seguranças durante todas as horas do dia. O Wi-Fi não funciona muito bem. No posto de combustível PetroEquador conseguimos abastecer a caixa d’água. Passamos 12 noites ali, e nos sentimos muito seguros.

One of the best places we've ever stopped. The park has public bathrooms (8am to 5pm), public barbecues, and security guards during all day. WiFi doesn't work very well. At the PetroEcuador fuel station we were able to fill up the water tank. We spent 12 nights there and felt very safe.

we spend the night here. Very quiet and safe many security cameras around. Great option for the night. Also you can leave your car here while you visit the museum.

UNASUR ofrece parqueadero gratis, baños gratis y hasta cocinar con carbón se puede y gratis. Muy seguro pues tiene circuito de cámaras conectadas con la policía

as the spot nearby is directly at the street we parked here overnight (friday). they lock the gate at night. we had talked to the guard in advance. we were alone here and the noise of the street died down at night. it was free. we visited mitad del mundo next day (5$ adults //2,50$ seniors).
