Ecuador
Cave with river flowing from its mouth. Church sanctuary here, "medicinal" waters. People were collecting the drippings from the stalactites and there are also baths here. Smaller scale than the Santuario de las Lajas on the other side of the border in Ipiales, but similar vibe. We were told to give it a visit from some Colombian travelers when we were at the Santuario in Ipiales. worth the detour! There's a "good" road from the main highway but if you go into La Paz and follow signs, there's a more adventurous road through the valley.

What an awesome place! It’s a beautiful 4 km drive from La Paz and the entire road is now paved!
It’s a must see stop in Ecuador.
There are 2 pools to choose from and the water is warm. Still just $2 pp.
Fantàstic place on the week. We stay here 3 nights. Free wifi, watter and toilets. Quiet and safe. The termal watter enter is 2$ pp.
Report Check-Innice place, its worth the detour. road is also really nice and paved. the church in the cave is down from the parking lot through the tunnel. church is free, pools are 2$
Report Check-InStill $2/pp. Pay at the tienda near the restaurant and get a ticket, or pay at the pool. During the week was pretty mellow and a nice way to spend an afternoon. The pools are not the prettiest we have spent time in (they are clean and big, but the water color is murky) but the cave is pretty cool and the water in the pools is comfortably warm. We brought our dog with us and was not an issue.
Report Check-In2USD pp for the entrance to the hot springs (why nobody bothers to mention the cost of the entrance? Probably they are tourists).
