This is the only place we found with water in the river. All the others river spots where dry. It is partially hidden from the road, vut we can still hear the trafic. Some locals came by to have a walk along the river, and when we arrived, on a sunday afternoon, a local family who was camping here for the weekend was about to leave. We camped next to the ruins of the old Bridge and the huge cactus.
This is a sandy road, so we didn't go down the river as the falily yold us they got stuck. But doable with a 4x4 as there were one down there. Felt very safe! Entel signal.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Difficult access for an 8m American Big rig (very narrow access path, steep and with holes + spot sandy)
Report Check-InThere are a lot of stray dogs here and unfortunately a lot of trash. This place has the potential of being really beautiful but I guess lots of young people hang out here at the weekends? We filled a few bags to take with us but it doesn’t really make too much of an impact. 😞
Quiet night on a Wednesday, just a couple of fishermen.
Really nice place to spend the night. The ruin of the old bridge surrounded by vegetation looks like a renaissance painting.
You can hear the road but there isn’t much traffic at night. Hard to find a levelled space without going in the sand but manageable.
We had no problems going up the gravel road to exit the spot.
Mama doggy is still there, limping and skinny, but alive with two puppies.
Lugar lindo e tranquilo ao lado do rio e da ponte antiga. É possível pescar no rio.
Report Check-InNice place for the night and the day! ok with our big motorhome.
p.s there is a cute dog, she's a bit affraid, she will have baby in few days/weeks and she really need food so if you pass near please stop for her🤎
