Argentina
Checkpoint. on the way from north to south. Delaying foreigners. Searches.

Police searched through everything. One of them spent 5 minutes studying the box of ibuprofen.
Report Check-InVery thorough check of my panniers. All of them. Emptied.
Looking for weed. Fruit didn’t seem to be a problem
Report Check-InPassed through at 13:30. Cones were out but no police. It seems the strategy is to pass through check points during “lunch & mate time” ;)
Report Check-Inpassamos as 16:30 não havia policiais apenas um carro parado da polícia. não fomos parados com a nossa van.
Report Check-Inwe were stopped for more than half an hour because our passports were (as is the costume in Argentina) not stamped at the entry to the country by the boarder control. they took our passports and car documents and only as night fell we were let go...
Report Check-InGot stoped by the guys in green who asked to open our luggage (panniers on the motos)
I had a stern discussion with them with regards to stopping foreigners for no other reason than to check their stuff! Lengthy discussion they opened one top case and never moved a thing in the end… totalitarian governments and their agencies can ruin a good day… anyway Argentina seems to be full of them!
Invasive checkpoint. Made me get out of the car and spent 10 minutes opening and looking through everything. Second time now in Argentina. Pretty lame
Report Check-InStopped, but nothing got checked, friendly police officer. We could directly continue.
Report Check-InThere is no more gas at the gas station next to this control. So we had to go fill up in Malargue and ride back 29km to the entrance for Las Lenas.
Report Check-InC'est juste un Poste de contrôle. Un agent nous a fait signe d'avancer quand nous sommes passés.
Report Check-InIt seems to us this is a regular police control (eg license, insurance, lights etc).
We passed without being stopped.
Checkpoint for fruits etc. on the way from north to south. We didn't get checked so we don't know if it's a normal fruit control as usual in Argentina or if they have special rules.
Anyway, only one person at place and therefore no much capacity for controlling ...
