I asked permission. Was told they don’t mind if I stay but the city might. No issues overnight. I’m in a minivan. Quieter than expected. But noise started at 6 am with some construction. 3 bars Verizon. Nice area. Mercedes dealership across street. Nice town.

nice hotel for a stop over in Tabriz. we paid 25 Euro per person and night. breakfast included. the owner speaks good English. there is a secure parking at the back, but our 2,76m high car was too high. so we parked at the back entrance in a little ally next to the door which has video surveillance.tel +984135253266

Look no further, easily the best place to camp. Easy access for big big rigs.
Access via the route 28G. Take the last available left turn when heading up hill.
Millie speaks English, lots of overlanders.
Easy walk and pretty access to old city, take a cab for 10 soles back up the hill!

Space for about 3 vehicles, reasonably level, loads of rubbish. The odd car passing. Sheltered in case of Northerly winds.

I stayed in this spot for 2 nights in a row, after checking the other nearby places. Nice place with beautiful view, the only downside is the rubbish around. I tried to clean it but sadly it'll get dirty again.

We stayed here for 10 days and loved the area. Very beautiful beach with nice swimming and snorkeling areas. Lots of soft sand so I would suggest walking around the beach before you drive down it. Also be sure to hike up the hill at the north end of the beach.

Zambia-Zimbabwe
Our easiest border crossing in months.
Nearly everything as described previously. The 25 Kwacha are the council levy and not a cancellation fee. Nobody stopped us to see our vaccination books. We drove straight to Zim immigrations, got our visa for 30 days, had to go to No 4 for customs/TIP. They accepted an old police clearance (2015) for our Namibian registered car. He said we had to pay 50US$ for TIP and insurance. After we had shown our Comesa (the guy didn't even checke the countries, just looked at our names) it was only 20US$.
Just before the exit gate Zambian Road Authorities wanted to see our Toll papers. They said we should have paid 38$ at Tunduma and not 20$, but finally let us through without any other payment.

Nice, clean, basic rooms for 40k. Mostly foreign tourists in the hostel. There's a kitchen where you can cook. Parking in a paid lot across the screen. Small covered area for one motorbike.

Road all the way to El Cocuy is 90% paved, and the potted parts aren't too bad. There was a pretty precarious river crossing when I was almost at Cocuy though. Had been raining for the past few days.

Beautiful beachfront campsite, but right next to public beach access so lots of other people around during the day, quiet at night but very windy when we were there, some abandoned tents that look like locals who live at the campsite. Bathrooms and showers were pretty good, but water was not potable. Short walk to surf spots north to Santa Teresa and south to Malpais, also into main road of town. 5000 colones per person per night.

Glad I didn’t check in on the 16th like johnnyappleseed. We came in on the 17th and stayed 3 nights. No one setting up music in the field at midnight. We had 3 quiet nights. We found it to be a great spot.

This spot is for a single night. Located off the highway. Pull off when you see the Intersection. Find a trail and go. 2wd van does the trick, requires light off-roading for a nice spot. Plenty of privacy.

We came here for a few days over Easter and stayed a week. It is one of the best places we have stayed in our almost 8 years of travelling and so relaxing it felt like we were having a holiday from our nomadic life.

Martina is a fantastic cook and we enjoyed everything that came out of her kitchen, clay oven and off the parrilla. We enjoyed pizzas, currys with naan, homemade bread, waffles, pasta and Steve's favourite succulent pork ribs. I am vegetarian and was well looked after.

We enjoyed our yoga lessons with Martina on the lawn. Martina is a qualified yoga instructor and a skilled and enthusiastic teacher.

Some of the the things that make this place unique - the outdoor shower and toilet, camping in the vineyard, the stars, the sense of nature. Even getting to the campground through the Cordones National Park was amazing.

However, what makes the place truly special are Johan and Martina. The warm welcome, conversation, humour and the relaxing way in which Utopia runs.

If you are in the area, don't miss this place. However, be warned, the vortex of idleness is very strong here and you might find yourself staying longer than you planned.

Definitely friendly staff and good value for the room. Still 740 pesos for a room with two beds, AC, shower, small TV. Dogs are allowed but 200 pesos extra per night. All of the rooms are huddled around the pool which can be loud in the afternoons. The restaurant is very good and they will bring it to you.

Ozark St. Francis National Forest park and campground. 8 designated drive up campsites each with a spot for the car, tent pad, table, grill, and fire ring. Water, trash, and pit toilets at pavilion. Pit toilets and trash at campground. Easy access to Ozark Highlands trail from camp. There is also an interpretive walk trail about Camp Ozone that was here in the 30s. $3 a night or $1.50 for pass holders of various kinds. Really liked this spot.
