Walmart/Sams Club | Informal Campsite

There are a tow trucks cruising around Walmart but I didn’t see that they towing anybody. I was staying right on front of OfficeMax between Walmart and Sam’s Club. Nobody bothered me and didn’t bother other cars/Vans that was not far away from me. And yes it’s very noisy here because of plane flying all evening and all night, at night it’s less but still very noisy. Not recommended to stay there because of plane noises, only if you don’t have any other options.

As soon as we parked an employee walked over followed by two police cars and said we could not park here. He followed by saying that the tow truck would be here within an hour or so. We parked towards the very back where other cars, vans, 1 RV & trucks had parked. We did not see any signs but please contact the store to confirm this. We were also told that the police would be driving around again in 30 mins and we had to be out by then. As reference, we are in an extended Promaster.

cops and sams club manager cleared all campers so we did not stay the night. drove north to the walmart in hialeah gardens and had no problems there.

Slept ok because of flying planes that landed to the airport. Very noise. Wouldn’t stay here again. No interruptions from anyone though.

Stayed here no problem, there were several other rigs and vans, as described with the important addition to note that this is at the end of one of the runways at Miami International so the planes fly directly overhead when they take off. Bring your ear plugs/noise canceling headphones.

no airplanes in the night. till around 22 it was very loud.

The place was ok just very loud with planes flying over since it is close the airport. Prolly wouldn't stay again unless I had to.

in overflow parking for walmart and sams club, next to sams club gas. lots of trucks, RVs and vans. had a quiet night
