Really nice spot!
R190 for 2 people.
Lots of trees and grass, supermarkets are across the road, and pretty safe area.

Bluff Eco Park -29.93034, 31.00462

not a bad spot. good Verizon signal. lots of room tho almost all has a little tilt to it. some trash around. I was hoping for some tree cover /shade but is just an open lot surrounded by shrubbery. night was very quiet.

Great spot just at the entrance of Coba. It is super quiet and perfect for a night before visiting the ruins. We were at the ruins at 7h45 before all the tourists !
Lots of friendly dogs around :)

We arranged to park our Van at Parking Verde and use Aldea hostels facilities. We could sleep in our Van. Speak to Lucas owner of the Hostel. Parking can fit vehicles of maximum 2.5 height. The people at Parking Verde was very accommodating.

Definitely a shooting spot. Definitely tons of trash, broken glass and unspent ammunition. However, pretty views and great seclusion. If you don't mind the bumpy road or stepping over sharp things, this place will do for a night.
Only a smidgen of AT&T from up on the hill. Nothing at the fire ring.

Perfect place to sleep, far away from noisy places. View to the sea with flamingos.
It was perfect to sleep with our van

Nice little place with friendly staff named Juan. The price for full hook-up is, in fact, 49$; for 42$ you get water and electricity. Perfect place as it is about 30 min. to Yosemite. One drawback : showers are unstable with temperature level...impossible to ajust.

Indian Flat RV Park 37.66097, -119.84987

We found this spot courtesy of IOverlander. In early May there are no mosquitos just the noise of the waves lapping on the deserted beach. Perfect for our overnight stop. No access difficulties. Just to say that we left the motorway here and it advised that nothing over 3.5t should drive down these roads without s permit. There are no bridges to cross to reach the spot and we ignored it. Obviously no height or other restrictions to reach the sea from the tiny track off the main road.

Perfect spot at the beach 40.74962, 23.73257

big ruts but I made it in my ford e350. nice lil area with pull offs. not directly on main road. close enough to hear the traffic though. 😊

Ablution is right next to campsite. Tents can be pitched and big rig friendly.

Bridge Camp -15.00525, 30.21518

nice place. thanks to the high curb, it is not so easy to get off the road, but also suitable for cars without 4x4 but also for large cars such as our 18-ton motorhome.

FREE 14 day Boondocking campground. Hydrant available with potable water by restrooms with flush toilets. Paved roads and sites. Easy for our 32 foot 5th wheel to navigate. Very shady and NOT good for solar. Quiet and wooded.

Meriwether Lewis 35.52256, -87.45495

stayed here one night, its a beautiful forest! there's tons of roads back here. The spots listed are unfortunately filled with shit (literally, as well as trash, food, clothes, an old crib, pillows, and a burned camper trailer). We stayed in a small grassy pull off right off the main gravel road away from all the weird stuff up here.

Maps leads you to a cross roads where it appears you’re to go up a dirt road hill. Don’t, that’s a driveway to a private residence. Take a left (stay on pavement) a few hundred yards and you’ll see the fire road on your right. It’s an ok road, but not the best for a big rig or trailer. I came after 3 days of heavy rain and did fine in my van, but it’s washed out with ruts and an incline. Otherwise, it’s a great huge spot. Probably lots of locals in the summer and hunting season.

Fantastic spot. Very wide street, and not crowded at all. Could have fit 4-5 more vans. Slept throughout the night without being bothered. Very quite!

Very good value Guesthouse. Is in a historic building, really beautiful and refurbished. The rooms are good size, comfy bed, fridge and even in downtown was very peaceful. Theres a well equiped kitchen and a Parking just next to the building (no big rig friendly), but you can Park on the street though. Johan the owner is very helpfull and polite. We payed 450 rands the room without breakfast. You can book on Booking (550 room) or direct with owner. +27 798063879.
