As mentioned, excellent boondocking spot. Bonus- there is a large dumpster at end of lot. Large grass areas away from road perfect for dogs to get exercise.

behind the tourist information, quiet parking. There is always a guard. the nearby park at night is not recommended, but we felt safe in the parking lot.

$5 dry camping. Lovely 1 mile hike to the dunes and ocean. Restaurant has good food, great margaritas. Nice, friendly owners and full time residents. Hot showers, but, bathrooms need some repairs. Our favorite Baja stop thus far.

Fairly good location for winter. All spots were taken in the larger pullouts so we took a small one. Bigger group ran loud generators till after midnight:( Also, many campers seem to be here for a longer stay. I call them Covid campers. Next time we’ll seek out other entrances nearby for more quiet.

Very nice campsite.
Every spot with own ablutions, shower and kitchen area.
Everything is clean and well organized.
In the evening the donkey showers are heated.
There is also a guy selling fresh fruits and vegetables.
So worth a visit.
Go and have a bath in the small pool at the natural water source.

Stopped to check wifi. It’s off season and wifi signal indicates it’s turned off as facilities are closed for season. Yet as stated, large quiet parking areas perfect for boondocking with large grass areas ideal for letting your dogs out for a romp

Great spot to crash. I stayed for a few nights. Toilets and Outdoor shower. The traffic noise can be heard but also hear the sound of the ocean. Enjoy time at the beach also pavilion with picnic tables. 1-2 bars of Verizon. I would not recommend large rigs bug when I was here there was a skoolie and a Class A camper which I would be max for large vehicles.

Clean showers (cost $8 to use with an additional $5 deposit to return key and towel provided). They will reduce the cost from $8 to $5 if you buy gas from them too. Clean, warm shower with hand dryer to dry hair. Clean laundry facilities (must bring your own soap). $1.50 wash and $1.50 dry. Wifi free from Tim Hortons.

Peaceful place just off the main highway. A very friendly Italian-German couple (Franco and Eva) are the hosts. They are fluent in Englsh, Spanish, German and Italian and they can give you all sorts of guidance. They maintain their own garden and beehives: the property is interesting to explore. The swimming pool is open. The sites are shaded and there is room for a big rig and several van-size rigs. The price in November 2021 is $10US per person per night.

Stayed here one night with no problems. No Drug dealers or party folk. Maybe because it wasn’t a weekend. You can here some noise from the Industry over the river and the rail yard, but still quieter then one spot away next to the road.

I had to wait an hour because the agent at Aduana went for lunch at noon. Not big deal, just plan accordingly if you don't want to wait. Super friendly staff on both sides of the border.

Very bad! they have continuous problems with Wild dogs that destroy bags and tents (It happened to me!) in search for food. I have read on Google the opinions of many other people with the same experience. The administrator didn't take any responsability (he says it happened all over the Patagonia). They didn't warned me to take measures like leaving the food bag on a tree.
Besides that, they charged 800 pesos per person, It must be the most expensive around.

Easy to find even in the dark but the coordinates are wrong. Follow the sign for “picnic area” on the exit ramp. It’s on the right hand side going westbound.

One van showed up at 11pm with brights on and parked right behind me even though there is plenty of space to spread out. I opened my window and told them to turn their f—ing lights off and they did. Three loose friendly looking dogs came by this morning. Fine spot for a night or two. No trash cans or bathrooms just picnic tables and open area. I parked in the circle area pointed towards interstate.

Kids trying to ropeblock several times on this route until cascada azul. We just drove towards them, honk twice and they let the rope down. Not nice but the fastest way to get through them.

Charging $3.79 for propane, save some money and drive to Cottonwood $1.80 at Galpin RV. Crazy the mark up this Ace has, taken complete advantage of their location.
