Latest Check-Ins

Stayed on the lot by the beach last night. Most areas are very uneven. We were able to back into the grass area at the far back and it was quite even. Watch out for the big sand ruts. There were a few other vehicles over night but there was no disturbance from authorities.

Report Check-In

Slept here on 8/17 and was undisturbed. There is some load road noise (locals drive at high speeds) but if you can tune into the waves, you'll be able to sleep.

Bathrooms & showers.

Also: Huge blue recycle bins if you've been saving your plastic and glass for a place to recycle.

As posted by someone else, the sand sticks and the shell fragments are sharp. Nice sunrise, wake earlier because locals are here for recreation 😊

Great spot. Spent the night in my truck and was the only one in the parking lot. The sunrise was amazing.

Open showers and a couple toilets. Nice small beach and great sunrise

No overnight sign is definitely here but we risked it anyway... Had a lovely dinner at sunset, a very quiet night and a beautiful sunrise!

Previous descriptions are accurate. No overnight parking sign is there but I wasn’t bothered by anyone. Arrived late Friday night/early Saturday morning in a high top astro. Crashing waves are impressively loud but easy to fall asleep to. There was a fair amount of traffic passing by (about 1 car ever 15-30 minutes) on the main road. Parked close to the restrooms/shower where there isn’t a streetlight beaming down. Overall, excellent spot.

Report Check-In

There is a sign that says no overnight parking but we decided to chance it and parked over in the far corner. We had no issues, hung outside the van but kept it quiet. The area is semi busy until around 830 then no one in sight. Pretty sure we weren’t the only ones staying. It’s absolutely gorgeous and don’t forget to watch the sunrise!

Unfortunately there is a new “No Overnight Parking” sign at the entrance of this place. That being said, myself and 3-4 other vans/campers stayed for two nights with no issues. I asked the firefighters across the street and they don’t seem to mind. Be respectful and clean up after yourself.

Report Check-In

There is a sign right at the entrance that said no overnight parking. Spent a few hours on the beach. Nice place to hang out for a few days, I didn’t feel comfortable risking a knock, but enjoyed my time while I was there.

Report Check-In

The bathrooms were open and clean! The beach goes for miles. It was an awesome spot to stay and I bet if you needed water for your rig you could ask at the firehall across the road

Report Check-In

The street can be a little loud at times, but it is an amazing spot. There was at least 3 other vans, and one big RV staying overnight. The beach is dog friendly, but they must stay on a leash. It is a very Shelly beach, so beware of some sharp edges when walking--the sand also sticks to skin much more than other soft sand, so have a mat and some water to help get it off before you get back inside your rig.

Great spot to crash. I stayed for a few nights. Toilets and Outdoor shower. The traffic noise can be heard but also hear the sound of the ocean. Enjoy time at the beach also pavilion with picnic tables. 1-2 bars of Verizon. I would not recommend large rigs bug when I was here there was a skoolie and a Class A camper which I would be max for large vehicles.

Report Check-In

Did not stay overnight but looks like an amazing
spot. Looks like overnight parking is ok.

Report Check-In

Spent the night. Has bathrooms/showers/trash cans. Across the street from firehouse. Has street lights. Fall asleep listening to the ocean.
Not the best spot(on a main road) but good for a night. Felt safe. 1-2 bars LTE Verizon. Perfect spot to check out St. Augustine.

Like everyone has said this is a great place to park. We camped for 3 nights and were never bothered. Firemen from the station across the road were totally chill and encouraging. Beach showers and clean bathroom. Recycling bins. Noise from cars, yes, but at night it is unnoticeable. Instead you have the beautiful sound of ocean waves!

Report Check-In

As mentioned before, noise from cars driving by all night. There were 2 others parked besides myself. No one asked to leave all night.

Report Check-In

Just as described. Great beach and bathrooms. Camped in our 32’ class C with small trailer and weren’t bothered all night. Get ready for some car noise on the road just feet from the parking area, many going VERY FAST.

Slept here last night. It was great spot right next to the beach. They have covered picnic tables, bathrooms, and outdoor showers. Had a great night!

Report Check-In

Quiet parking lot right on the beach. two cars also spent the night, otherwise empty. Several parking posts for vans or small RVs that can fit in a normal parking spot. Picnic tables, restrooms, and great place to catch the sunrise. No signs prohibiting overnight parking and no one hassled us. Cell signal spotty. Five stars but can't adjust the rating for some reason.

Report Check-In

Nice pull off right along the beach. Several pavilions and picnic tables as well as semi-private beach showers and single stall male and female bathrooms. There are no signs indicating you cannot park overnight. Our first night here two other camper vans were also parked here. That same night while parked here a sheriff pulled into the lot and sat for a few minutes but he didn’t ask any vans to leave. Very nice little place to spend a night or two. The only downside is there is quite a bit of traffic on the road directly in front of the pull off.

Report Check-In

Cars can get noisy when trying to sleep but hearing the ocean when parked here makes it all worth it. Pretty quite and safe spot. I did read on Vanlife app that someone got asked to leave by the cops. If that does happen there is a gas station just up the street with a huge extra lot to park. Showers and toilet worked great

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot! Thank you iOverlander! We stayed here all day and the view was beautiful. Showers and bathrooms are available all day as well.

Report Check-In

Nice spot right off A1A across from a fire station.
got in around 630 and stayed the night. A1A is a bit busy until later in the evening.
bathrooms open all night. Didn't use the shower but I'm sure works well.
A Camper was parked here as well.

Free outdoor showers and washrooms, in great condition! No signs saying no over night parking but we did not stay. Lovely beach! Believe it’s dog friendly. No signs about anything really. There is also a bin for mixed recycling!
