Flying J | Informal Campsite

This was a fine place to stay for one night while traveling through. They have a side lot with plenty of parking and I felt safe. Around 4 AM, semi arrived nearby and their idling made my car vibrate. If you are sensitive to noise and such, you probably would not like this spot. I was able to fall asleep again, so it was fine.

I went inside in the morning to get coffee and use the restroom. The employees were nice and the restrooms were clean.

it's a truck stop with a Denny's. it's what you would expect from a truck stop. we have transmission issues and have had to stop frequently for longer than we would have liked.. was stuck at this truck stop for a couple days. got lots of coffee and showers. no one bothered us. this exit has three or four truck stops and fast food joints. loves can be unwelcoming but all the others will let you alone if you're not making yourself noticed. old school traveling tip... we all know about cracker barrels, did you know many if not most waffle House will leave you alone if you're just staying long enough to sleep and roll on. food sucks but don't be a jerk! buy a coffee or something, say thanks on your way out and don't leave a footprint.

Perfect place for an overnight pit stop. It can get a little noisy with the trucks but that went away QUICK once we fell asleep We did not go inside.

Good overnight spot. Golden Coral onsite and a Wendy's next door.

Great truck stop off 95 about 1 1/2 hours outside of DC. Clean showers and bathrooms. Office services and western union. A place specifically for cars to park and sleep. Denny’s on site if you like Denny’s. Solid place to camp or pit stop on your way to DC traveling north. Free Wi-Fi from parking lot thanks to Denny’s.

They have put a meter in. 10 for the dump and water wasn't on, don't know if it only works when the dumps paid for.

Cheap fuel and propane. Free dump, water and air. Easy access. Lots of amenities.

the dump station is operational but it will cost you $10 to use the dump station. it's located next to the rv gas pumps that are off to the side towards the wendys.

This place is still here and fully functioning
Huge truck stop in back but a solid place to park over night as well
Dump site is closer to the Wendy’s side of the flying j lot and they had fresh water too even though I didn’t fill up with it

Gas station with food. Room to park overnight. Sanitation dump site is awesome. non potable water available. you need a hose.
