5 stars. Excellent place to stop when departing Death Valley. Quiet road with traffic only of those going to the Refuge. several small one van turnouts and at least one that would hold 3 vehicles. The Refuge land entrance is clearly marked with a sign and cattle crossing, so stay before that to be in BLM. No other folks around on a Thursday and Friday night in December, but plenty of space. I assume the area is busier in warmer weather. No shade or water, so maybe best in cooler months. Slow and constant verizon signal/data with no signal booster. The ecosystem inside the wildlife refuge is wild, and the visitor center has very clean bathrooms open sunrise to sunset.

Nice spot, next to the road to the refuge, no other vehicles, during opening hours some traffic to and from the refuge.
Report Check-InEasy to find. Previous directions are accurate. One van also arrived late to camp but were at a nice distance. A lovely quiet night with a mostly full moon. February is a great time to camp here.
Report Check-InLovely spot just outside the entrance to the wildlife refuge west entrance. Stayed 2 nights while we toured the refuge. Great views in all directions. 2 bars of Verizon service. Very little traffic, our 2 rigs were the only ones here. Big area, lots of room
Report Check-Indon't think you can get there, the road is washed out and a great big tire is blocking the road. there are some pull-outs on either side just before this but you're awfully close to the highway. best to go back and stay at the casino lot
Report Check-InNice pull off with great views! Verizon reception isn't very strong but it works with a booster. Pretty quiet road that it's next to, but occasionally cars will come by.
Report Check-Ingreat site! peaceful with no traffic. we pulled further down the road and camped by the entrance to the refuge as one of the power poles had a noisey insulator or transformer.
Report Check-InFairly good location for winter. All spots were taken in the larger pullouts so we took a small one. Bigger group ran loud generators till after midnight:( Also, many campers seem to be here for a longer stay. I call them Covid campers. Next time we’ll seek out other entrances nearby for more quiet.
Report Check-InThis is one of a few BLM pull outs. Super quiet, nice night sky. Had on and off weak Google Fi. Super quiet.
Report Check-InNice Boondocking stop. Good place to spend the night if you’re visiting the refuge first thing in the morning or until sunset. Just a dirt pull off. Verizon and AT&T have weak but reasonable signals this place can accommodate a fairly big rig.
Report Check-InPin is on exact spot for turn out for 3 or more vehicle. No facilities.
Report Check-InThere is water and a restroom at the rest stop by the gas station at turn off from the highway. Visitor center in the park was closed. A couple of spots to set up.
