Great free dump with rinse. Easy access we were in and out in less than 10 min.

Report Check-In

Free dump. Water is before the dump, it says $.25 for 12 gallons but another but I think we got less. Overall a nice place for dump and water

Report Check-In

Works great, looks open 24 hrs - I came for potable water so be sure to ONLY use the small 3/4” quarters machine for that. Seems like it’s costing 25 cents for 3 gallons = $3 total for my 30 gallon tank. Spot to dump black water and dumpsters to recycle only. Highly recommend!

Report Check-In

Currently $0.25 per 5 gallons. Unclear if you actually get 5 gallons per quarter. Instructions say to only use a quarter at a time, which means you have to stand next to it and add a quarter when it stops. Seems like pretty low pressure. Not great, but it's better than not having water!

Report Check-In

There are 2 water spigots at the white cinderblock structure. A 3/4 inch standard hose spigot and a 2 inch pipe. The 3/4 hose spigot costs $0.25 for apx 5 gallons, and only takes quarters. There is a different quarter slot and a bill reader that accepts bills up to $10, but that is only for the 2” pipe. The card reader on the other side is also only for the 2” pipe, and it only takes city-issued prepaid water cards, not credit or debit cards. The 2 inch pipe dispenses 13 gallons for $0.25. There are also many cardboard, plastic, and metal recycling dumpsters, but no trash services. The RV dump is free and was unlocked in the nighttime freezing temperatures as of 11/19/2021. There is a RV flush water spigot at the dump with a hose.

Report Check-In

Card reader on left takes city-issued prepaid water cards, not credit or debit cards. The other side takes quarters and bills up to $10. 13 gallons for a quarter. Recycling dumpsters only, no trash services.

Report Check-In

$0.75 to fill up about 30 gallons of potable water. RV dump is closed for the season.

Report Check-In

Nice free dump station maintained by the city. Water can be purchased with quarters. Recycle bins are all outside but no trash cans available.

Report Check-In

As other overlander reported, the credit card does not work for water purchase, must use the other side of kiosk and use quarters. .25 for 10 gallons. Has waste dump site with trash bins, for free. ....THANKS YOU, city of Cortez for providing all of these services!

Report Check-In

Just behind the building there is potable water, trash, and a dumping station. Huge parking lot with lots of room to turn around. They charge $0.25 for water. The credit card reader seems to be broken; it says “invalid card”, but on the other side of the cinderblock structure, there is a coin slot that takes quarters and works fine.
