Good place to wash your car/van an Park duribg the day. However staying overnight is not possible.

They even have Landjäger, Fondue, Raclette Cheese, Aromat yellow & red, it's like a paradise ;o)

sadly the gate is closed :( looks like a beautiful spot! not sure why so many of the forest service roads in the area are closed in late May.

Under the overpass, parking area one right by the amtrak station is for two hour parking only. No NO signs, metrolink website says overnight parking is ok here, long term also possible with permission. Spent one night here before taking the train the next morning, no problem. Probably best to not overstay your welcome!

Harmony Lagoon is a large artificial lake at the top of a mountain. Beautiful place and amazing nature, silent and peaceful. There is a restaurant (only on weekends), a hotel and cabins for rent. Staying overnight is allowed by prior arrangement with the owners by calling +55 51 98151-9874. We paid R$40 per person. The space on weekdays is practically empty. On weekends, especially on Sundays, it is very busy. It has barbecue grills, tables, benches, a playground for children, horse riding and pedal boats. The restaurant has good WI-FI during the week and slow during the weekend (due to the number of people). No 3G or 4G operators pick up at this location. Do not stay overnight around the lagoon as the owners shoot anyone who tries 👀

A lagoa da harmonia é um grande lago artificial no alto de uma montanha. Lugar lindo e de natureza incrível, silencioso e tranquilo. Nela funcionam um restaurante (somente em finais de semana), hotel e cabanas para locação. É permitido pernoitar combinando previamente com os proprietários pelo telefone +55 51 98151-9874. Pagamos R$40 por pessoa. O espaço em dias de semana é praticamente vazio. Em finais de semana, em especial os domingo, muito movimentado. Possui churrasqueiras, mesas, bancos, praça para crianças, passeios de cavalo e pedalinhos. O restaurante possui WI-FI bom durante a semana e lento durante o final de semana (devido a quantidade de pessoas). Nenhuma operadora de 3G ou 4G pegam neste local. Não pernoitar nos arredores da lagoa pois os proprietários tiram a tiro quem tenta 👀

One of the best deals in town. Nice rooms, simple common room for breakfast that can be used throughout the day. Hot water all day long but no access to a kitchen. Wi-Fi worked great on the top floor. Super nice ladies working the desk.

they want 35$ per person now for Parking and Breakfast. we move on.

The RV dump is behind the car wash stalls. There are 3 potable water nozzles, 2 by the dump and 1 across by the propane tank. There is no posted fee but they do ask for donations to the Children's hospital, the collection jar is on the front counter inside. They do not fill propane tanks.

All 6 of the camp grounds along this road are now run by Rio Grande National Monument who have made a great job updating all the sites, some with electric hookup 15$, dry and tent camping only 5$pn, concessions for seniors. Plenty of info about trails at the Rio Grande Visitors Centre on the main road. No cell signal, otherwise lovely place to stay right by the river.

Pernoitamos aqui, o posto tem um pátio enorme e também é 24 horas. Fomos bem recebidos, os funcionários muito atenciosos.

O centro da cidade fica a 1 km então se precisar de algo tem que ir lá primeiro, mercado padaria.
Se negociar com os funcionários acredito que tenha banheiro e energia.. Nós usamos o wi-fi.

Sinal da Claro pega 0G e Vivo pega bem 0G, não pega sinal de celular. Não tivemos problemas, pq usamos o do posto

Amazing mechanic with so much patience! He worked on our suspensions and brakes and we kept coming back until everything was fixed. He really helped us and accommodated us a lot. Good for old and new vans! He has a high roof and fits large rigs.

Gravel parking with no "no parking sign". the park isn't maintained so it's kind of looking abandoned. some trails are nice and doable, some others aren't.
no toilets, no phone reception, but if you want to camp there before going for a hike, it's possible.

Camping Card camping, next to the pool. Lots of space for campers and tents, but very open (windy!). Small kitchen but you can only do dishes in here. Only 2 toilets; no showers.

public parking. no overnight signs posted. it is a nice area to access beach, and hang for a spell. water in great location, especially if you can snag the first parking space.

A good place to stay overnight with a Nice , good food and 24 our bathrooms and free WiFi .

Just an update: still here, still acceptable, definitely budget vibes but nothing too bad. They do sell rooms by the hour, so there’s that. But hey there’s a garage!

Nice dispersed campground outside of Wichita. Easy entry. plentybof spots for all types of rigs. Very quiet and dark at night. Vault toilets, boat launch, fire rings, and 1 bar of service. I slept great. will be returning.
