Eng: Quiet place to spend a few nights, we feel very comfortable in the place and its facilities are perfect. The owners take care of all the details and help you in whatever you need. You can also leave the camper for long periods and it is very safe and they take care of everything. highly recommended

También se puede dejar la camper por períodos largos, es muy seguro y ellos se encargan de todo. Muy recomendable

When we got here it looks like a few people left their trailers to claim spots for presumably the Memorial Day Weekend next week. They never appeared back during our short stay.

This was unfortunate because it forced us to choose a more exposed spot and we had some 30-40mph gusts that woke us around 1-3am.

Overall very quiet except for the cows calling and the gusty wind at times.

Bigger Campsite with small boxes. Use the bigger boxes close to the beach and you are fine (spacewise). We paied 20 Eur for 2 Adults and our car. No Power included. No-Go: the Ablution was never cleaned within the three days we were there. It was very dirty…

Great place to stay. Large clean rooms, clean separate bathroom with hot water, peaceful garden to relax, very friendly owner who makes you feel welcome, good local food (dinner and breakfast)

Super friendly vet, we went here for the health certificate. No appointment needed, open most days from 9 to 12 in the morning and some days in the afternoon. Health certificate and spot on parasite treatment was roughly $15

BLM land tucked off the south side of Gilbert Pass summit. There is a BLM trail/road heading in to the Piper Wilderness Corridor. We explored about 200’ off the SR168 but didn’t go further because of potential rain/mud. There is a large gravel patch, turnaround as part of the BLM road, and incredible views of the Eastern Sierra on one side and the Silver Peak Range on the other.

Not friendly route for towing or longer rigs, lots of postings to that effect. No slow clearance of the road in winter after 4pm.

we stayed a little down the road in the pull in spots. Gorgeous with the sound of the waves! Lots of other vans. Two cars down there was a woman blaring music till about 10.30pm and filming videos butt naked in her car. We were worried it would draw the cops over but no one came and she eventually left. Peaceful night after that!

Stayed here 3 nights, As mentioned the road is hard packed red dirt with lots of rocks jutting up from the road.,

It sounds like they are planning to replace the machines soon.

Quiet parking lot with showers for members. Just check in with the manager first! They told me no longer than 5 days

If you don't catch the regular ferry (I think it's 20 pesos per person), you can hire a panga here. They charge by the boat, not passenger - we paid 170 pesos each way.
Once on the island, you may have to wait for a boat to take you back; the last scheduled ferry was 4pm today; check to see if the schedule has changed.
There was no fee for parking, and there was no attendant when we were there. There were a couple panga pilots waiting for customers, so there was someone around. Looks like island residents park their vehicles here.
There wasn't much to see or do on the island; we returned after 1 hour.

Amazing spot, really.
You can be seen from the road and a local himba or 2 might pass by, there are really friendly and don’t want to bother.

You can park on the sand close to the river, a little bit further away the sand in hard and the view is still amazing.

We were able to swim while being careful though.

Stayed here for three nights, on a little parking spot right by the beach.
The ranger’s office/cabin can be seen from here and we never got a knock. The guy from the information center said it was ok to park and stay there.

There’s a huge trash can but a sign says you should take back your trash.

Beautiful spot for whale watching :)

(We came off season so R42, from here to Puerto Madryn was closed. We had to take the loop around R1 and R2)

Great spot. Very beautiful and clean. $10 per tent. Kayak rental for $20 and you can use them your whole stay. The restaurant is closed, but the bathrooms and shower are open and very clean. No WIFI. Beautiful river. There was a huge crocodile in the river in the morning. Lots of space.

Excellent place to stay! 150pesos per person and all the facilities you need. Off season it is really quiet.

Great quiet spot! Has multiple parking spaces, some picnic tables, located in the back of the building. It also has a big garbage container. At the front of the building there is a dump station and potable water you can refill!

Over all great place to rest, sleep , refill and empty your rig!

We stood on this RV park for 3 days. The owner and his team from Switzerland take care of the guests very conscientiously. All our wishes were fulfilled and we felt very comfortable. We were able to cool off in the swimming pool, the kitchen was fantastic and the evenings very fun.

Rest area with bathrooms and plenty of parking. Three bars of AT&T.

Now called Parqueaderi el 8. They charged us 50000 for 24h. We could go out and come back with the van during those 24h which was great.
Very safe and pretty quiet at night. Also close to the bus station. You can reach el Museo de oro for instance in 35min.

Nice place, wifi is slow and usable only around the office area and laundry room. We spent an enjoyable 2 nights here.

This is a fantastic family of moto and RV travelers selling parts, welcoming parking in front of their store. They sell batteries, basic parts, belts, and know everyone in town if you need more than they have in stock.
They also let us park safely in front of their store for the night. This is a huge green space. Beautiful little town. Amazing people.

Nous y avons passé une nuit. Accueil pas très chaleureux. Accès très difficile avec un véhicule de 8 mètres (descente +virage très raide). On a touché alors qu’on a une garde au sol haute. Parking sur gros cailloux. Piscine sympa. Prix: 60 000 COP par nuit pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants (négocié car on nous demandais 80 000).

passamos uma noite aqui. foi bem seguro e tranquilo, com pouco barulho exceto da rodovia, porém se ficar por trás do restaurante acredito que será mais silencioso. o pessoal da pista é bem amigável.

El acceso al camping es muy malo. Son 2 km de puro terror. Por la noche llovió mucho y nos costó salir del camping a la carretera.
Los servicios de ducha y baño son malos.
La piscina es rica y los dueños amables.

Si tienes un 4x4 es una buena opción, si vienes con un furgón o otro vehículo pesado 4x2 no lo recomiendo.

beautiful campsite on the lake. Rooms are also available. The ablutions have recently been renewed. Beautiful swimming pool with a view over the lake. There are giraffes, zebras and several other animals. The restaurant has good food and friendly service. An early breakfast can be made on request. We meet the owner Peter at the border. He helped us very well there. Very friendly and helpful, someone we won't soon forget.

nice campground with drop toilets and fire rings. no showers or power. may be too early in the season to have to pay since we couldn’t find anywhere to check in and no one said anything to us.

A wonderful campsite tucked away in what feels like someone's smallholding. There are plenty of trees for shade, flowers, chickens, veg patch etc. There's a proper kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing up sinks and a free gas hob. The showers are hot, and the toilets are clean. We paid 150 lira per person in a tent.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay. Hannington and Gorreti are lovely hosts and Robert is the chef that provides great meals.
We had Elephants and Waterbucks roaming on the grounds on a daily basis.
From here we cycled out to the Chimp tracking (8km one way), an excursion we can highly recommend.
