justanothervanagain | Stayed here the day after the May long weekend and it was almost empty! The sites are spaced far enough apart that you have some privacy and nestled into the trees. Many have river access or beach access (we snagged a river access one). Clean pit toilets and access to water. Water says it should be filtered so user beware! |

maxi.naegele | Nice Hostel with good vibes. Moto parking behind a (non locked) gate with cameras. Ask before you book though, one of the volunteers didn't want to let me park the bike there, while the second one allowed it. |

tiben | Right behind/above the gate at the entrance of the video. The gatekeeper can details the lodging options if asked. This was the cheapest option in town I was told: 25 soles for a single bed, shared bath. Clean place, hot showers. No wifi. No claro reception. |

Perfect with my 25feet Nous avons passé une nuit ici, pas de panneau "interdiction de dormir". Endroit calme, robinet d'eau dispo vers les barbecues. Pas de problème avec notre véhicule de 25 pieds. |

1jessicastafford | Small picnic area in the tiny town of Felt, OK. Large flat area to park, pit toilet, picnic tables, fire pit, horseshoe pits, trash bins. Very little cell service. One day stay limit. |

SteefGees | Camping card camping. Although they are supposed to open on May 1st, on May 22nd they were still closed. Talked to the lady ofvteh site and because we didn't need a toilet, we were allowed to stay for the night. Nice big campground with different sections. We liked the section in the former quarry. |

mattinglyz | Place was beautiful! We had it to ourselves, a few locals drove by and waved at us. We were able to fit our Jeep Cherokee rooftop tent there no problem. I’m sure there are lots of hideaways out there. We arrived when the flowers were coating the earth, truly beautiful. Sunset and sunrise were gorgeous, wonderful recommendation! ATT struggles, 1-3 bars off and on. We cleaned up some of the litter there, but we didn’t get it all. Please pitch in when you stay, to keep it beautiful!! |

cody.esser1 | Got a corner in the nearly full self parking parking garage, didn't have any trouble overnight in a Prius with no privacy set up. Walked right into the Circus Circus pool area across the street and had a free shower too! |

youtube.com | We stayed the night here. I don’t think it’s private property. It’s a pullout on Malibu Carbon Canyon Rd. The left side of the road has gated driveways to homes. The right side of the road (the side with the pullout) is just a Canyon drop off. Obviously be respectful and low key as there are people’s homes in the hills on the left side of the road. We stayed one night and had no issues. Nice and quiet. |

YouTube.com | Pedimos para usar a tomada e o pessoal foi super atencioso, puxamos uma extensão do banheiro, depois abastecemos como forma de agradecimento. O posto fixa bem próximo da rodovia movimentada então tem barulhos a noite. |

laurens_keuning | Whoaaa, what a fantastic road! It reminded us a lot of the Yungas Road in Bolivia on the most tricky parts, although the drops are probably a bit less dramatic. The road is open both ways, since they finished the construction works on the regulas PanAmerican road going up. It definitely requires patience and going back and forward with ongoing traffic at times, but isn’t that the charm / challenge of the experience? Just makes sure that the weather is relatively okay and if the road is not blocked, because big landslides do occur often and rain + visibility can be properly dangerous. |

laurens_keuning | We stayed here for 1 night and were all alone. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning and the site offers clean toilet and (cold) shower facilities. The hosts said WiFi was not available and we couldn’t get any phone signal, but it was fine for us one night. |

oran | Same as described. You have to continue a little further than google shows the POI. Find the spur dirt road and drive 50 yards. It a large flat clearing. With one steel pole painted yellow on the side of the space. A couple of large vehicles will fit. Not signed. Locked gate 25 yards onward. |

gale.ben | incredibly kind! This spot is very family friendly. The two children, Lucas and Benjamin, are very well behaved, curious. If you have children this is a wonderful spot. They have a lot of dogs. All of them are very friendly and playful too. The family that runs this camping/restaurant are also incredibly kind! We were originally going to stay for only one night, but stayed for three. |

theroad27_ | Nos quedamos solo 1 noche. El parking era grande, al costado de un mcdonalds. Nadie nos molesto, no habian otros viajeros cuando nos quedamos. Si tenían espacio para RV. Habian varios tachos de basura. |

between2safaris.com | Ernesto Flores serviced my Defender with a 300Tdi engine. He also did a cambelt change for me. I was very happy with the workmanship, he clearly knows these vehicles. He works alone so best to phone beforehand. Cel no 0987932070. |

wendibethgross | Spot for 2-3 vehicles. *May* be a day use only picnic spot, but right by river which helps drown out the cars by the road next to you. And you can have breakfast there in am. Better than straight side of road camping I think- bring eye shades for the bright light of the cars driving by |

Fish and Kitty | This is a small paved parking area for the regional bicycle trail. About a dozen standard parking spaces, probably suitable for up to about a 23-24 foot motorhome but no larger. Pretty quiet, just a bit of road noise in the distance. No signs prohibiting overnight parking, and no one bothered us when we stayed overnight in a 21" van. No one else was there overnight, but there's a fair amount of usage during the day. Good Verizon reception. |
