Wow!! What a cool spot. As described in the other posts it’s new and being worked on. Very cool spot. Juan is exceptionally friendly and offers to have food , beer, anything you need delivered right to your camper. Call ahead and he can arrange oysters delivered. Definitely recommend staying here! Big area for the dogs to run too!

So, I was living in my car before I met my bf and we stay at this hotel a lot now. But near by are tons of spots to rest and sleep at if you’re a van life. If you drive past the holiday in and keep going down that street there is an industrial parking lot that is empty you could give a try. Also, I slept at the wood springs hotel parking lot a few times and no one bothered me. There is also several places near by that could also work like two truck stops, crackers barrel, waffle house…etc.

Nice lodge. Self contained rooms start from 20,000 MK with breakfast. Cheaper options with shared toilet are 12K and 15K.
Clean room with attached bathroom. Western toilet with running water. Solar geysers, so hot water available only when it is sunny during the day. Big open place outside and big shared living room. Food in restaurant is reasonably priced. Can ask manager to help change USD to MK at black market rate. Fan / TV / mosquito net in the room. No WIFI though.

Water at pump 4. Regular city water the attendant said.

Good for a night. No problems. We picked up spotty wifi in the parking lot on the west side of the building. It works much better in the drivers' lounge.

Awesome cafe if you want specialty coffee. Delicious V60 pourover and really interesting cold brew. Good music. Nice slightly hipster vibe. Baristas pay lots of attention to detail when making your cup. Various bags of roasted coffee available… 30k-45k for 300-400g, depending on the bag.

Also a sourdough bakery. Load up on some pan de masa madre here! Options for vegans.

We liked this spot more than La Maria, but La Maria is also good if you want a solid cup of specialty coffee.

Very nice beach. Constantly visited by locals.
4x4 needed to access the beach. Very soft sand.
Good for snorkeling.
Sand can get VERY hot! Bring water shoes or a good pair of sandals.

We went to the Atlasmara bank, but they were already closed. Across the street is an exchange office, but they only change into Zambian Kwacha. But they will call someone to come to the exchange office to change to Malawi Kwacha there. We could count as often as we wanted and exchange in peace without getting scammed.

Nothing vegetarian to eat. Only meat nothing special. We did not like it.

Looks like a hotel which is mainly for oil workers. But very clean (best in Angola so far). Nice views, ocean access and top wifi. 35000kz for two persons including dinner (buffet+1water+1beer) and breakfast. AC and moskito net.

Vegetarian restaurant that offers a vegan lunch with vegetarian (cow’s milk/eggs) desserts. Lunch is 10k for a small and 12k for a large. This is a vegan’a paradise. You actually leave full after eating a healthy meal for a great price. You get a bowl of fruits or soup, the main lunch plate, and a juice. Definitely come here!

They also sell tofu labeled as ‘queso de soya’.

It's a casino parking lot. Overflow parking uncovered lot near the main entrance on the Northeast side.

Occasionally there's a booth entrance and when asked just say you're there for the casino. May ask if you have a players card, if you don't just say you lost it they don't care. Allowed to abandon vehicle for 24 hours, so great for a one night stay. Slept in my promaster with no problems no one bothered me.

Huge and empty, room for any size rig, but maybe don't run a generator near the front end.

Public restrooms just inside the main lobby entrance and down the escalator on the right without having to go through the actual casino.

As far as casinos go it's a very nice one. Restaurants and bars are quality. Gambling is a waste of money but if you like poker the games are good.

Big flat parking with awesome view, not visible from the road and easy to access! Extraordinary Entel 4G signal. No wind protection. We were just exploring the area so we didn't spend the night here, but it seems better than the other ones already marked on this road!

Basic rooms with twin or double bed. 600 TL without bargaining, which is $18.50 at the moment. Good wifi, door wide enough to get a GS into the hallway. There is room for at least 2 bikes. Good location, restaurants nearby.

As stated before very nice campement and Muhammad very friendly owner. We stayed in our camper for a night. Can definitely recommend.

Entry USA from Canada. Canada side, no stop. USA officers ckeck carefully our passports. Many quesitos, were to go, where are you going to sleep. They asked for a relative adress in USA. They asked Keys of our Toyota Camper and checked interior. No fruits, no vegetables, o drugd, no cigarettes, no Guns. Polite but serios interview. we were allowed to stay for 90 days under ESTA conditions. Nobody else crossing the border, we were alone, but it takes nearly one hour.

we stayed in this place for two nights. we reserved through Booking, the price is really cheap, we paid around $22 for two for two nights. The rooms are private, there is a shared kitchen, very basic. and a couple of tables where you can eat, the bathrooms and showers are shared. in Booking it says that you have a private bathroom and kitchen but that's not true. The place is a bit noisy because the walls are thin but for the price we paid I would say it was excellent. if you have a car you can park it in the internal courtyard and the gate is locked at night. The parking is not for giants truck.
nearby you can find local food, supermarket etc.. we ate at Pupuseria Rosita which is truly spectacular. 4 pupusas two beers $5.85😱.

one more thing, in the rooms during the day it is very hot but during the night it is possible to sleep. don't expect luxury, the rooms are basic and the lady who runs the place is friendly, the place seemed safe both for us and for the car.

If you you want to stay here for volunteering, you will be staying in one of our shared wooden cabins $5 a night. There is also a possibility to camp on our property for $10 a night.

You are close to the supermarket and the bus station and only three kilometers from the next Beach.

What a fun stop! Austin ( a former Marine) built the tasting room by hand with materials from his acreage. He makes wine from fruits harvested from his property as well, so we’re not talking about traditional grape wines (he sells those too, but doesn’t make them). I bought a case of his homemade wines. Prickly pear, Persimmon and Juniper Berry. He also makes a Mesquite Bean wine which was a little Smokey, not my cup of tea… Fun stop! Big Rig friendly.
