Excellent guest house! The works of the rooms are finished. The rooms are comfortable, pretty and clean. There is a WiFi network available. The price for the room was 400 NAD. The owner is extremely nice. He picked us up at a restaurant in town for dinner. You can have breakfast on site. There is also a bar (20 NAD for a beer) and a swimming pool. We really recommend this place!

Fantastic 360 degree views of the surrounding landscape from here. Very dark and quiet at night.

I drove up the dirt roads to the east, as the previous review says it's VERY steep, and the farther up you go the steeper it gets. My Honda Civic was able to make it up, but on the straightaway leading to the spot I really had to punch it, and just barely made it to the top. Something with 4WD would've made it easier but not necessary if you've got more power then a Civic. Ground clearance wasn't an issue.

Border crossing took us 2.5 hours… 8 terminals but only 2 open, it didn’t seem extremely crowded just not well organised. Waited in line for ages! At the front it all went fast: short check of the car, asked if we had alcohol. Maybe it would have been a better idea to take the small border…

Primeiro nós fomos ao consulado da Guiana em Boa Vista para solicitar a autorização, que pode demorar de um a três dias.

É preciso carimbar o passaporte na saída do Brasil, mesmo sendo brasileiro.

Após o carimbo dos passaportes na entrada da Guiana, é preciso fazer o seguro do carro ou motor home , tirar 2 cópias e voltar na aduana.

Só aceitam dólar guiano para o seguro.

Enfim ficamos uma manhã toda em função dos papéis.

Nice quiet municipal CG with hot showers and clean restrooms. Sites are just gravel with HU and a table. The tent sites are shaded and grassy.

It is one of these traffic signals you often see in the central parts of towns in Angola … nearby which there might be a police officer observing for violations.

Good stop for the night, double room at 20000sh with safe parking. They had hot water this time, but no english. Quiet for the night

Very quiet place to stay for a night or more. No one around. Far from road. Flat, sandy ground. Nice view. The wind came up in the morning only. You can easily stop anywhere on the way to this spot, plenty of space !

Far from the road. Absolutely need a 4x4 with low range, not suitable for SUV. Rocky and sandy track. From the road, take the track which goes up until reaching 3 concrete platforms. Then keep climbing following the track, then you can drive as far as you want, flat land. No phone reception.

Great little spot. 5 sites available, 1 on the lake and 4 within the trees. 1 pit toilet and a couple picnic tables / fire rings on some of the sites. We arrived on a Monday evening and there was only us & 1 other staying.

All the signs say Diamond Shamrock but google maps reads Circle K. If your in a big rig and your heading towards Denver this is your last stop to overnight before traffic/mountain driving. Packed full of truckers but we had no issues finding our spot. Bathrooms were dirty but serviceable. Also cheaper diesel than Denver pumps.

Ver genoeg weg van openbare weg om geen geluid overlast te hebben.

This is a rather large pullout with no signs, but there is a semi hidden section to back into with trees and bushes between you and the road, and lovely rocky streams for a view point. We pulled in the early evening and were not bothered except by a few others looking for camping since the Lake Quinault campsites were shut down for maintenance. Lovely spot with limited traffic, at least during the week.

Nice small parking lot at a playground and lake. Lots of trash strewn about from people fishing and teens hanging out at night. Quiet overnight though. Lots of wildlife to see in the morning. Still no signs prohibiting parking. Nice place. Help clean this place up!

Magnifique endroit, face au fleuve, sécuritaire avec tables à pique-nique, poubelles et toilettes publiques très propres. Assez loin du boulevard pour ne pas entendre la circulation. Nuit très calme aucun bruit.

Just as described. Parking in back is private and lights are dim. Very cozy. I car camped, but there is plenty of room for RVs

Very nice place to stay. We had the beach for us self. A lot of shelf's to found. There is quit a lot of stones and shelf's in the shores, so bring shoes for entering the water.
