This camping spot is located on city property and is in a day-use area. Camping here is not allowed. Fencing and signage showing closure was recently installed.

Report Check-In

Didn’t stay because there is a sign saying that overnight is forbidden.

Report Check-In

we found a spot to pull slightly into the woods 0.2mi from these coordinates, at (44.6511027, -111.1139906), no signs prohibiting camping. we attempted driving down further to get to the other sites listed on ioverlander, but the dirt road was full of potholes/puddles, so we turned back with our 2WD van. we spent two lovely nights here. trees to hammock. a few bikers/hikers came through the trail next to this spot. there’s clean pit toilets if you follow the trail behind the gate 1/4 mile (it’s a nice, easy trail to walk regardless of the toilet). a couple of dozen cars drove back here during the days, super quiet at night. good at&t. 1.5mi from West Yellowstone. no wildlife spotting, other than a deer.

Report Check-In

Free campspot just outside West Yellowstone. There are a few spots here down the road, but also some roads still closed. Easy to get here, some other campers as well. If camping there think about wildlife closeby so clean up your campground while using and before you leave. We had a curious coyote visiting us , I guess it smelled food. Also be bear aware!
