As seen all over Wyoming, a pull-off from the interstate with no services and room for a half dozen tractor trailers. This stretch I-90 wasn’t particularly busy; the scenery is beautiful (the outskirts of the Black Hills) and the cell service is good (3bars TMobile 5G). Overall a very convenient overnight stop.

Missed the entrance the 1st time by. it is earlier than Google maps says. Road is still nice on the way in. 4 bars of service. They are building houses on the other side of the river right now

Pleasant spot off the highway for a layover. Very private and no highway noise. The coyotes were yippin and howling all night. Doesn’t bother me tho

This restaurant is famous in the area for its pies… also serves great breakfasts.
It is not expensive I guess for US standards but a pie is 7 dollars. The cinnamon buns are 10 dollars but are the size of a dinner plate. Hamburgers come with fries and start at 14 dollars. Great staff and ambiance. Grocery store in front. Doesn’t have wifi but you can ask the shop in front and they are usually nice.

cheap hotel 250 tl one person, you can park motorcycle or bicycle inside.

Beautiful mountain canyon river hike.

Small village of Sekonj where you can find the river canyon hike about 15 minutes of driving on the dirt road pass the village (keep straight all the way). Park your car at the end of the road next to the restrooms and hike up into the canyon along the river.

You can hike for hours and on along the river to catch loooots river pools for swimming and waterfalls. Beautiful canyon hike and ice cold water. It takes about 1.5-2 hours to get to the main large waterfall.

Take food and water as there isn’t any store in the village.

All that is mentioned before is true. Ana and her husband (and the rest of the family and staff) will do almost anything for you. She and some of her family drove around town with our empty European gas bottle to try and get it filled.(Unfortunately didn’t succeed btw..) And if you need a ride to the center they will bring you. We also arranged our 1 day Salar tour via them and could park our motorhome safely in a open air garage around the corner easypeasy. Offcourse they take commission for that. Parking is for free..

Breakfast was: bread, eggs, juice, pancakes yoghurt, fruit, several kinds of serials, coffee, tea and warm milk and some other stuff. Very peaceful place with nice warm big area inside to use. Wifi fast. Parking lot was full, so had to park outside, but that felt very safe as well.

Great night! There were four others staying the night as well, one huge rig and then some other smaller trucks and pop ups. Quiet during the night, just some highway noise. Would stay again.

Big swimming pool, shade, frigobar in the rooms.
Air Conditioner, nice and big bathroom and beds.
There is also a nice, clean and equipped kitchen for your use.

They are very gentle and helpful with everything you need.

300 Birr for room with shared toilets. No water when I was here so had to go nearby and pay 30 Birr fir a shower. Rooms were clean, unlike what the reviews of the nearby lodge say about that place. I also had a guide help show me around. Just be careful as the friendliness in this region often leads to strong urges to take you to the nearby village for a high cost.

Super nice guys doing an accurate cleaning job at our 4x4 after having some fun in the salty beach side of Walvis. Payed 150ND for pressure wash, soap, cleaning and hand drying.

Would definitely recommend and support these people!

Beautiful quiet spot to camp out for the night, about 15 mins from the main road. there are zero amenities and no privacy here so it's better for fully equipped rigs rather than tent campers. during the week you might have the place to yourself.

consider it a wine tasting for $20 with free camping provided, as the camping alone for
$20 is not worth the price.

The road is high and dry in May 2023 :) No problem to drive.

Parking lot at park and trailhead. Near to residential area but no overnight traffic. Stayed one night and was not bothered. Only seen joggers and in the morning moms with toddlers going to the nearby play park. 2 bars cell reception on Chatr LTE

we was 8 hours at the Border and we want to go to sleep. so we stay here for one night. it is loud from the street but it was ok for one night.

It's a Thai restaurant in a shopping center. Small but fine. We ate very well here. There were also many guests there. Recommended.

Nice spot on a small parking lot direct at the beach in front of a shop. Maybe crowded at the weekend, but very calm in the week.

Really fast internet, could upload our blog and download some tv series.

Perfect place to see the bridge construction. A path leads zig-zag up the hill, so you can see the train tracks, too. And your tiny car down there on the parking lot. ice people at the souvenir shop.

The road barrier is really a bit South of the spot indicated here, so no access to the river by car. We tried to get to the river a bit further downstream but failed due to more barriers.

Great little spot to stop over for a night.

We paid 150 pp. Mid season prices. In our opinion, a bit steep for what you get but not many options in the area. The piece of grass they call campground is very small and sites are not defined so, depending of how many cars there is, it can get very crowded and unprivate. There was only 2 bathrooms for 10 people when we were there and there was some trafic jam in the morning and evening... Maybe they should limit the campground to 2 or 3 cars or make it bigger, there is so much land not in use !
It's a nice campsite otherwise, with working wifi, power, good hot shower... just too small for what they want to do.
Almost no MTN signal. No wifi during loadshedding.

Amazing camping spot at a small lake, at the end gravel road. Very near to the walking trails.

From this point it is not possible to continue the trek. There is visible small path up, but it is too steep and too dangerous to cross this part. The guard at the parking lot told us it is not possible to pass to other lagunas by walk. You can go by boat to cross this lake. But he wanted 300s!! It is too much.

Google maps is not accurate getting here, as many roads marked that are not actually there; stick to the signs pointing to Crazy Jug Point until you get close. Came in late spring and the road still had much snow and I got stuck twice. Very quiet sight with one of the most incredible campsite views I’ve ever seen. No cell or internet service and an hour and a half from any main road, please be careful.

Friendly staff, hot water, and clean. Preferred this place over the other place to shower in town.
