We offer safe, private campsites arranged in such a way so sites can not see each other. We are homeschool friendly for science and nature trips.

Thanks for the overnight parking WalMart! This place is busy during the day. I suggest waiting until almost dark to take up space. As others noted, parking away from the expressway is best. Signs are still posted stating 48 hour parking is allowed. There are about 8 bigger motorhome’s that stayed overnight near me as well as cars and other smaller vehicles, which could have been employees or overnighters. This is a good place to sleep, then head out at 4 a.m. to get through Salt Lake City traffic before the morning rush hour. Make purchases from the friendly folks inside and keep the area clean. Perhaps this WalMart will keep providing this service.

We just filled up with water at the Rotary park. Very easy, no one around.

We camped here one night. The annex with the ablutions in the photo is gone, instead they’ve got a semi-outdoor solar shower and a foot-high portable mini toilet. It’s very, very basic but if you’re cycling it’s a notch better than wild-camping. No electricity on site and signs say the water isn’t potable (although when we asked them if they drank it they said yes, and so we did too - without any issues!)

The site is very basic, you’re setting your tent up on gravel or sand, there’s not much shade other than one big tree and not a huge amount of privacy. There is of course the all important braai area though! It looks like they’re doing work on it, so I expect it’ll be a bit more developed soon enough. 150 rand per person.

Huge 24h parking lot with some shade from trees. 5 minute walk into town. It has toilets (20p) but not very clean. Finding a level spot might be a bit of a challenge but is doable. See photo for all tariffs (£17,20 for 24h) but if you come in after 6pm until 8am it's £1,50 for the night. Fine for one night. A lot cheaper than campsites and a lot closer to town to enjoy the pub and walk back to your van :-)

A great café attached to a petrol station- offers a big variety of food to eat there or to go incl pies sandwiches and full breakfasts as well as good quality coffee!
The shop is well stocked with snacks and every energy drink you can imagine…

Pasamos de casualidad y nos encanto, al estar fuera de temporada hay baños cerrados y casi todos los comercios, pero para nosotros por el precio 2100 motorhome, 2 adultos y 1 niño nos pareció aceptable, ya que hay duchas con agua caliente y pudimos lavar ropa

There are no camping signs clearly posted here. Camp at your own risk but I won't stay.

Back of the Cenex station is the propane filling area. Very helpful and good pricing.

Llegamos a las 9h pero no había nadie, esperamos y a las 11h nos hicieron entrar. Bernardo y su equipo nos recibieron muy bien y nos atendieron en seguida aunque estaban construyendo varios campers. Tienen especialistas para todo: madera, electricidad, fibra de vidrio.. así que nos pudieron reparar todo lo que teníamos pendiente desde hace tiempo para un precio correcto dado el tiempo que pasaron (nos aclararon desde el principio el precio en dólares). Hacen una pausa de 1h al medio día. Otros viajeros vinieron ese día y también salieron felices con el arreglo. Bernardo también nos compartió contactos para hacer nuestro control técnico y reparar nuestro parachoque. 100% recomendable !

Nice quiet place to camp, spots are spaced very far apart so it feels like you're really in nature. Also means when it's busy you have to drive very far from the main road to find a spot. Okay in my 2wd transit but had to take some spots very slowly.
I wouldn't go far into the site during rainy conditions.

Towing setvice and mechanic. We stopped here to check the thriftstore - very nice and talkative lady who owns the store -worthwhile to check!

very nice little turn off from the main road room for several vans. not a lot of trash but there is a lot of cow pies. Not to much trash. watch out for cows they don't move.

Best place to fix your BMW Motocycle here in Town. We was here to fix the suspension of our 650 GS. Takes us one hour.

Ecuador into Colombia with UK registered motorcycle - Ecuador migration and aduana took 5 min. Colombia migration about 2mins, they did not ask for any ‘Check Mig’ registration.

Super friendly and easy processing. Colombia Aduana has about a 2hr lunch (12-2pm) and they lock the office doors - register your Motorcycle details and upload your documents/photos (PDF) of VIN, plate, engine number etc on the DIAN website (see photos) before arriving or get the ladies in the adjacent cafe/store to do it for you ($5) in about 15mins. Everyone still in the same building. Very easy and quick crossing.

Aim to go via this spot if you are crossing the border into the US at Calexico West.
If you follow gps it will take you into Sentri lines, which could get you a big fine.

Buen café. El camarero bastante seco. Lindo lugar para tomar un descanso.

Nice hostel and perfect to spend the time till sailing of Puerto Lindo.
The rooms are clean and nice, the host Sylvia ist really kind.
Dogs are welcome, the five dogs of the hostel are kind to foreign dogs. Enjoyed some quiet days around here. Because of off season not really activities around.
