Description

A 12 minute drive south of the interstate, with several signs showing the way, takes you to this delightfully quiet spot next to a vineyard and a little creek with flowing water. While they advertise tents welcome, campers must be completely self-contained, including a toilet. They advertise RVs up to 45 ft allowed but no generators. It’s essentially a huge, level grassy area next to the vineyard with a gravel road and turn-loop for heavy vehicles, a common fire pit and 3 picnic tables. We chose it and enjoyed it because we prize silence; we fell asleep listening to frogs and woke to birds. Oh, yeah: there’s a free 10-flight wine tasting with the $20 camping fee (so you decide which is free) and the wines were varied and good. Hosts were most welcoming. book in person or through Hipcamp.

Latest Check-Ins

Beautiful quiet spot to camp out for the night, about 15 mins from the main road. there are zero amenities and no privacy here so it's better for fully equipped rigs rather than tent campers. during the week you might have the place to yourself.

consider it a wine tasting for $20 with free camping provided, as the camping alone for
$20 is not worth the price.
