Beautiful Corps of Engineers campground about 25 miles from Linton ND. There is a gatehouse but it was shuttered and no drop box. All sites appear to have electric service. Pit toilets. They have dumpsters and a dump station as well. Apparently reservations are required but tonight we are the only ones here.

We didnt slept but passed by to buy some cheese and yogurt, you can see the milk process. Maybe you can sleep there (didint ask).

No longer a grassy area for Overlanders. You cant camp here.

Great place. We had to pass through some high grassy area but we did it. If you go into the river they are some fishes that come by to clean your feet ;).

Very nice place but be aware of the height of your RV.

Very good little pull off to sleep for the night. Barricades to park your car infront of down little private dead end pulls offs. Was very quiet, we got a good nights rest.

Was closed, sign stating sight was closed. Disappointing.

Dry camping available for 35$. Mainly used for RV campers, unsure how much hook up cost. Access to shower, pool, bathrooms. One picnic and fire pit spot available to dry campers, operates on first come first serve basis so if you decide to leave and come back your spot may be taken. Close to cannon beach amenities such as coffee, pub. We walked about 7 mins down to the beach and watched the sunset. Not the quietest stop but we where able to get a good nights rest and get washed up. I would recommend. Check out was convenient unlike some stops.

They do not offer camping at this site any more. They sent me to the Waterfront camping.

Off the beaten track for sure. Beautiful lake. Some notes:

There is a gate about 4KM to the west where we paid 20Q to access the lake. Very nice woman gave a receipt apparently the whole area is private property.

The road from this gate down to the lake is a few KM of steep, rutted, twisty dirt. If you have 2wd you will struggle to get back up if it's been raining and even if dry it might be an adventure. It was wet, we were fine in 4WD low, but beware.

The hotel is not right on the edge of the lake. There is a view but it's about 100 meters up the hill. They were playing music and lots of lights in the yard behind the gate, we camped instead on their lower parking lot across the road but were not inside their gate. If we were doing it over again we would have asked the lady we paid at the gate if that covered camping on the edges of the lake at either of the other two Ioverlander spots and not bothered with this hotel.

The hotel manager was very nice, we paid 50Q for 2 of us as we were already there and it was late. One of us speaks.decent Spanish, we asked about swimming in the lake. He seemed to say it is not safe due to algae and pollution. I looks beautiful, if a local is telling you the water is too polluted...

Tasty food. Not expensive. Good view of Sucre

Extremely popular lodge that has everything you’ll need. Right on the beach! Camping is fine, nothing spectacular but is a nice flat patch of sand/grass. The low end rooms are very basic, but are good enough (bed and electricity). The bathrooms are a bit grungy, but they do have hot water all the time. The restaurant and grounds are great places to meet other travelers if that’s your thing. The Wi-Fi is very slow, often <1 mbps and drops off constantly.

Vue sur le lac avec en prime les oiseaux, tout seule sur le spot, seul hic c'est un peu un dépotoir. sinon chemin rocailleux mais faisable.

We really liked this campsite and stayed for 2 nights. had prebooked online and I would recommend that for cheapest prices. paid ~$160 for 2 nights in high season which isn't bad for tofino.
there is WiFi, hot showers with no time limit, proper washrooms, hot water for dishes, power at all sites, potable water. surf rental on site. laundry on site $2.50 for wash $2.50 for dry (~45mins each).
Great spot for beach and surfing and relaxing.

Condition of 701 coming from the border to Alote in some places not easy. Many many very deep sandy detours (can imagine a lot of trouble in wet season), with pretty deep holes (sometimes) hidden by the sand and washboards. The superfine dust is everywhere so shut your windows.

Dirt, flat camping area. Near and under the bridge. No services except trash cans and grills. Could be busy in summer. Currently quiet. We were the only ones here last night. Some noises from vehicle‘s over the bridge, but not too bad. Water access if the river is flowing. Please don’t come here if you don’t have a plan for your poop.
Decent cell service. Any size rig will fit. Dogs loved it.

Well, it’s a Saturday and fruit flies don’t work on Saturday. We were not stopped at either point. No one even out there on the northbound lane. Perhaps only a Southbound thing?

We stayed at Alex‘s place just one night before crossing the border to Mexico the next day. Such a lovely place with an amazing garden and river to swim in. Unfortunately after some strong rain we were not able to enjoy the river but there is a nice, small stone fountain where you can take a shower. Entrance is a little bit tricky but we fit easily with our sprinter van (short EU version - 17 feet / 5.3m).

Stayed here for one night and had no problems! It’s a large and level gravel parking lot with great views. There’s some noise from cars on the road but it’s not terrible and quiets down late at night. Drive to the state park campground a few mins away for toilets late night and then there are also a couple day use areas along the reservoir that have bathrooms.

Wash is ok. Friendly staff. Very expensive.
We paid US$ 86.00 for four loads of wash with drying.

This place is great, we loved the tour with José. He is a great guy with a good sense of humor.

Camping is a bit bare but has everything you'll need. The biggest plus for us was the pool, which was really clean and refreshing.

Very quiet and sky full of stars! Love it!

Big parking lot within the park and sport areas. We parked at the end, where the Scout Hall is, as it was darker at night. We slept here 3 nights and had no problems. There aren’t signs prohibiting camping and there are toilets (open 6am-9pm) and picnic tables. It is a bit busy until late in the evening as most of the parking lot is illuminated and it is a space where people come to do activities, but none bothered us. During the last night there was another car next to us also staying overnight.

Very nice family who welcomed me warmly! Got a response of email request within a few hours and enjoyed staying there a lot! I totally recommend the place and will come back if in Swakopmund

Deuxième passage au camping do Tiao. Nous avons payé 25R/P et 15R par jour le temps que nous sommes restés à Jicoacoara. Le restaurant sur la plage de la lagoa Paraiso est sûrement le moins cher du coin. Tous les matins nous avions 2 petits pains par personne accrochés à la porte de notre CC.

spent a night here.; we did a few months back as well. I guess theres a new law that got into effect by locals complaining of rigs staying here. When we came back to Flagstaff this time around, we have noticed more deforestation for housing unfortunately.A forest ranger came by and told everyone that we had to leave and camping/sleeping is no longer available. They said theres one a few miles out. It may eventually come to the point where the spot they recommended us will be unavailable in a year from now. Bummer.

Start of RN 40. Ruta National 40. When using this road / Highway in the wet season take caution use a 4x4.

They accept Only cash, dollars. Diesel and petrol.

you can camp here for one or two nights I would stay in behind the Chuck e cheese's unfortunately it's next to the interstate so it's noisy. there is no overnight signs posted but they're not enforced if you just play it cool one night go park on the north end of the parking lot everything will be fine
