As described. We stayed overnight in our 25 ft motorhome. No issues. Lots of trucks coming and going. Their area is separated from the passenger vehicles. Not a large area. Not suitable for class A’s or 5th wheels. Right at the water. Nice clean area.

Beautiful spot and easy to get to. Stayed one night. Other campers around. Some traffic noise as mentioned, including engine brakes, but didn’t wake up in the night because of it. I would stay here again.

Pulled in at midnight, there were quite a few other rvs and vans. It was quiet and no one bothered us.

Can confirm the showers are hot! They have a looot of pressure, so don’t be surprised. The stalls are large so you have plenty of space to hang your stuff or put in on the bench

Back at Summer Lake Hot Springs for my wife’s birthday weekend. Big news is the pool inside the barn was filled last night. A nice 99 degree this morning. See my past reviews for prices and camping descriptions. Make a reservation before arriving if possible.

Only one dead sea lion today. Calm during the night, some families come during the day. Average dirt for the Peruvian coast.
Good surf, but there is a very strong sideways current close along the beach.

Beautiful spot with plenty of room for multiple vehicles if you have a group. It is a well maintained road so more cars than expected on the road even very late at night. 1/2 mile past the intersection of the trail on the left hand side. After an out and back hike it was great watching the motorcycles and bicyclists going up and down the mountain. I would imagine this spot fills up quickly.

Price increase to $10 per night self-service. Spring water, cliffs, and cliff caves are beautiful. Saw a few kayakers go by. A few locals swimming. Tick season has expanded due to climate change, there were tons. Use your bug spray.

Across from the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and White House where the books "Little House on the Prairie" were written.
I stayed at on grass/primitive site by the road for $15, and 30/50-amp full hook up pull-throughs and back-ins were full. Call from website info to reserve. Place has turned junky.
Small bathrooms and showers were remodeled 3/20/23. Two washers and two dryers, bring your quarters.
Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company is a few miles away.

The restaurant doesn't seem to exist anymore.
The hostal is still running. 20 soles, shared bath. Very basic.
The owners have a bodega at the northeast corner of the plaza. You will likely have to go there to ask for a room.

It is a very nice and perfect place. The inhabitants of El Cuyo no longer want RVs / campers to be parked on these streets because there have been travelers who have thrown their sewage and it is a protected area. Therefore they no longer want them to park in their streets near the beach

Flat gravel parking. 10.000 per night. Night was a bite noisy with many dogs when car passing. We were on Friday night. Saturday we spent day on free river. Second rapid after the bridge. Was great with rented inflatable wheels. Cold Shower and wc available very very clean. 2000pp.

Reserved Camping, well structured with internal access to the Rio Quente with crystalline and warm waters. The river is inside the Camping grounds, walk the equivalent of 30 to 40 meters to the waters! The site has water and electricity structure for motorhome, and also bathrooms. The price in May 2023 was extremely honest, BRL 25.00 per person/night, parking inside the lot is not charged, so we paid BRL 50.00 per day as a couple. We stayed 3 days here. All very smooth and without surprises. I recommend and would definitely return to this place.

View of Red Canyon if you walk over to it. Lots of wood chopped down and dispersed in piles, open wild camping, unusually fast internet. Great sight this close to Bryce.
