Description

This is a gravel parking lot for public Utah Lake access. It is slightly slanted away from the road but otherwise flat. There is room for 6-8 small and medium vehicles. It would be best for a van or small class B. There are no signs indicating no overnight parking and I was unable to find anything about it online.

I stayed for an afternoon and overnight. It was a popular sunset spot, but all the cars left after that. The road was busy and fast, but I didn't hear any cars after about 10:00pm. There is a nice rocky beach on the shore of the lake with several fire pits. Awesome spot with beautiful sunset and sunrise. Also a cool view of Provo at night.

Good cell signal with Verizon.

Really beautiful place to stay for the night. SO MANY MISQUOTES

Report Check-In

As described. We were the only people parked from 5pm until 9am the next morning. Only a handful of cars passed by on the road. Beautiful location for the night.

Lovely quiet parking lot off of a country road, over looking Utah Lake. There were two other vehicles when I arrived at sunset. They were both gone by 9p, and there's been no one since on a Sunday morning.

Quiet and peaceful nook to overnight. 15-20 min from highway. No other vehicles, just us and our van surrounded by snowy mountains and iced over lake. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise.

About 15 minutes off I15 but we thought worth the time. The parking lot was a little sloped towed the lake. We saw a dirt road down to beach and no signs indicating it was private so we took our 4wd sprinter down and parked on the flat compacted beach. Good clearance is advised. Very quiet and amazing stars and we had a full moon so the shadows were incredible. Had the area to ourselves. 1-2 bars service with AT&T

Pulled in at sunset and the snowy mountains were lit up golden pink.
Didn’t like the slanted grade so i went down to the large parking area at Lincoln point Beach.
There was only one other vehicle here and the Rangers had just left. Bathrooms were open and very clean. There are picnic tables and a few have shelters. A gorgeous view at all times.

Verizon has two bars but enough to hotspot to my laptop. Another sunny cold morning at the mobile office!

BUGS! This would have been one of the most beautiful spots on our trip, right on the water, but the insane amount of bugs makes it nearly uncampable. Would not stay here again.

beautiful spot, easy to drive right to the water, but we didn't spend the night here.once the sun was down, the amount of bugs were unbelievable, they were everywhere, never saw anything like that, the buzz in the air was overwhelming, we had to go somewhere else to sleep.

Arrived at 9pm- there were very few cars passing by but eventually stopped after an hour. Was honked at by one of the cars passing by (rude 🙄). Great spot with a great view. Just be warned- There’s A LOT of bugs out here. In and out of your vehicle as fast as possible or your ceiling will be splattered with bug remnants like mine :)

Stayed here last night, and it’s a really lovely spot. Small roadside gravel lot best suited for vans and cars/trucks. I arrived at 7p, cooked dinner out of the back of my truck, and watched the sunset from the beach. No signs saying no overnight parking. Very little traffic on the road at night. Can watch the sunrise in the morning as well. No amenities, but decent Verizon service w/ LTE.
