Beautiful Corps of Engineers campground about 25 miles from Linton ND. There is a gatehouse but it was shuttered and no drop box. Many sites appear to have electric service. Pit and flush toilets. They have dumpsters and a dump station as well. Apparently, reservations are required but tonight we are the only ones here.

A very large campground widely spread apart. Some campsites are a little close for comfort.
First 8 spots are electric free and last 8 spots the same. The rest have electric and a higher cost. Some along the lake have great views. Tent sites $16 reservations/ drop in supposed to be done on recreation.gov. No drop box. First tent sites are in view of highway and lake. Hear road noise when the infrequent vehicle drives on it. Other sites are further from the road. Sadly the far tent spots (much more private, in the trees, don’t have functional cell service, first one, a mowed lawn few trees does.
Hot showers in one main building in center of campground. There are maybe four other campers here? Total # sites 61.
Boat launch and separate dock for swimming area. Over all a really nice oasis in the middle of the Dakota campground desert. Quiet, peaceful.
