As previously described the camp sites and cabañas are on the location of a distillery. José is a wonderful host and tour guide. There is a swimming pool and a small person pool. Very good location. I recommend it.

Fabulous spot to camp, do a Tequila tour and tasting right there. We can definitely recommend this farm.

José is amazing. Muy simpático. He knows a lot and the tour on his side is great.
The Tequila testing at the end amazing and we bought as well a bottle of his delicious Tequila.
The pool is very nice and you can sit in the shadow.
Negative: the railway is close by and the train use its horn. As well a lot of dogs barking during the night.
Do not expect a RV park.
The experience is awesome.

Amazing! Love it! Jose is super friendly,funny and just a really good guy. Nice place to camp. Warm shower, swimming pool, laundry machine. Everything you need. We spend 3 nights here. Walking distance to town, but we where totally fine hanging out at the farm with the cows, chicken and sheep. Highly recommended!

Our Rules:
1.-The Camping of the Destiladora Puntual in iOverlander has a price of 400 pesos per adult person that includes the tour of our agave fields, the visit to the production and bottling areas of the tequila company and a tasting of white, rested tequila and old; It also covers the first night of camping. 2.- Each additional night has a cost of 150 pesos per adult. 3.- It is possible to use the washing machine for a load of clothes of a maximum of 15 kilos free of charge, for each family. Each additional load of laundry costs 50 pesos. To operate the machine it is necessary to request the support of someone from the staff, to avoid inconveniences. 4.-It is possible to come with a pet, with the strict condition that the entire time the pet is in our facilities it is kept on a leash, for the sake of basic attention to the staff of the place and other visitors. Pets are not allowed in the pool area. 5.- Payments are accepted in cash and with Visa or Mastercard cards.

We stayed in our camper van three nights - it is lovely. Jose gave us a 3 hour tequila tasting and agave field tour with history of tequila and his family distillery. The pool area is beside the camping and washroom/shower/laundry area - it is beautiful and clean with an outdoor kitchen and lots of patio seating. You need to visit here!

We booked a tequila tasting tour with Jose. The tour gave us a great insight into the cultivation of the agave and the distilling process.
Jose doesn't use any pesticides or artificial fertilizers, which we particularly liked, and of course the 3 different tequila(s) tasted particularly good.
Jose is a very good host with lots of charm and wit.
We stayed two nights with our camper on the property and had quiet nights, the center of Tequila is within walking distance.

La piscine est propre et grande.
Il y a la douche (eau froide), 2 machines pour laver le linge mis à disposition gratuitement, des toilettes.
Une cuisine extérieure et des tables pour manger.
Des jeux pour enfants et un terrain de basket
C'est vraiment un lieu très agréable.
Nous avons fait la visite et la dégustation de la tequila.
C'est une distillerie de petite taille qui a gardé les traditions et la culture biologique.
Nous avons payé pour la nuit et la visite:
400 pesos par adulte

Such an amazing place to visit and taste some real Tequila! José is such a nice host, very knowledgeable and speaks english very well. We learned a lot about Tequila - the drink and the town of Tequila - would highly recommend!
Camping is nice, full amenities with showers, a kitchen to cook at and the refreshing pool.
Camping plus the guided tour and tasting for 400 Pesos per person, 300 Pesos if you just want to camp here. (but seriously, take the tour!)

What an amazing place! Staying with Jose and taking the tour in the distillery (and tasting the amazing Tequila ofcourse) was one of the highlights of our trip in Mexico so far. Toilets, shower and pool nearby. We felt safe and enjoyed two quiet nights.

We arrived late, sent a whatsapp to Jose and he came quickly to open the door!
Quiet place, water, showers (cold ) swimming pool and a shared kitchen !
Jose is very friendly and he knows everything about Tequila !
The visit is fantastic ! It’ s a ´small ´ family business and you can see all the process from algave fields to the testing ! Excellent tequila (all 4 you test)
400 pesos per person (visit and night)
Perfect !!

We messaged Jose on WhatsApp at 4.30pm and arrived 2 hours later to Jose’s amazing set up. We had access to fast wifi, power, washing machine and clean toilets and showers. In the morning we headed on a 2 hour tour of the distillery - it was informative and fun. We tried the four different tequilas produced by Jose and his family which were so tasty we brought 2! 400 pesos per person for the tour and 2 nights accommodation. We couldn’t recommend this stop more!

Very nice place to stay. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed a wonderfull Tequila tasting with the owner Josè. He is very hospitable, kind and funny.
Recommendation: don't miss the tasting !!!

We totally recommend to stay at Josés and do a tour. You learn so much about Tequila (the drink and the town) and José is just so kind and funny you can‘t miss out ☺️. You have access to the pool and an area to relax and the wifi was very fast. The toilets and showers are very spacious and clean. We definitely would come back ☺️.

What a gem!
We loved the tour and learned so much about tequila. We visited the fields, the distillery, tried four different tequilas and learned how to make a famous cocktail!
José speaks english and loves to talk to people from all around the world.
No tour in one of the bigger distilleries can give you this unique experience!
The price of 400 pesos per person also includes the camping with clean bathrooms and showers!

we loved everything! Jose is really nice and let us camp here for the night. their tequila is delicious, organic and it's small batches. definitely worth after spending the day in the crowded pueblo!
would definitely recommend!

Highly reccommend this tour ! Jose is such a passionated person with lots of stories to tell. He speaks good english too !

We arrived earlier to enjoy the pool and camp here after the tour.

This place is great, we loved the tour with José. He is a great guy with a good sense of humor.

Camping is a bit bare but has everything you'll need. The biggest plus for us was the pool, which was really clean and refreshing.

Great stop for us! We messaged Jose in the morning and arrived late around 4 pm and got a tour at 6pm (with nicer temperatures for walking on the field)! Great tour in English plus delicious tasting with Jose.

There are toilets, cold showers and a pool - all for us to use.

Definitely a highlight of our trip!

What a great find! We asked José via WhatsApp a couple of days in advance if he would be around ans of there would be a tour! He responded so politely and kind, we already knew that we would have a good time! And it for sure was! What a passionate and kind man and Family Business! We Tequila tasting was great and we learned so much about about the town and tequila, it was so good! Don’t hesitate to come here!

We loved our stay at Jose's! The tour and tasting were fantastic. Jose is very knowledgeable about the tequila process and the history of the liquor/town. we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with him. We tasted all 4 of the tequilas he makes and he taught us how to make the local drink, the cantarito. Our dog was welcome to come along on leash on the tour, but we would have preferred he stayed in the camper if he didn't have separation anxiety... he kept getting thorns in his feet in the agave fields. This stop was one of our favorites!

We really enjoyed the Tour and the tasting afterwards. Glad that we could stay the night over there.
Dogs are no problem, but you have to take them on a leash, because José has chickens.
Because the weather was really hot and our tour was at 11am, we could take our dog with us on the tour. Highly recommended!

We stayed one night at the Puntual Distillery and had a great time. Jose took us on his agave fields and we got to know so much about how to produce „destilado de agave“ and about the history of city of Tequila. He definitely puts so much love and passion in what he does and this we could feel, so we can totally recommend the tour as well as to stay at Jose‘s place.

Amazing place. They farm organic and Regenerative. The garden is full of fruits, which you can try if you ask. The pool is really refreshing and we could even do our laundry. It was an amazing evening. Jose did the tour, even if there were no other people than my wife and I. You can feel that he is proud of his destillerie and he is an amazing host, who will take good care of you.

Amazing tour of the distillery and the agave fields with José. Tasting with plenty of shots of outstanding tequila. Safe place to sleep with toilets and cold showers and a swimming pool.

Contact him in advance to check availability and timing, otherwise he will not be there and the gate is locked.

If you are looking for a place to get a super nice Tequila tour (400 Pesos per person) in a family owned business including Tequila tasting and a place to stay overnight, you are perfectly right here! José takes you to his agave fields and explains everything you want to know about Tequila. He also offers a safe place to camp overnight with bathrooms and showers.
