If on wknd, you can visit the giant flea market next door. Best part were the fresh (and cheap) fruits and vegetables! There's also outdoor movies, at least 4 giant screens with most recent movies...

Wonderful secluded Free Provincial Park campground - pit toilets - picnic tables - fire rings - very quiet - room for big rigs to tents - our Overland Rig enjoyed the journey here past the intersection where the First Nations group is protesting the pipeline - no issues passing by - security was present at the intersection where the protest takes place - using the Starlink system to post this - no cell service here - absolutely worth the effort to get here!

Still 30 Sol /night, see other comments about the very friendly family. We felt very welcome here, very good food, VERY simple bathroom, cold shower. Stayed 2 nights before crossing into Ecuador. Seems the only acceptable place between El Ñuro and the border - all other beach-roads we tried were very disappointing.

This area is gone as there is a massive road construction project underway. The Rest Stop is still physically there but currently closed.

Propane refilling station. Convenient, 1 mile from Interstate 5. Cheapest propane I have found around here. Was $2.50 per gallon on 23Jul2022. Check out operating hours on Google Maps

Really tasty food, first a vegetable soup, yummy!delicious “milanesa de llama” with salad, “llama” stew, very friendly people, we highly recommend it!

Very clean & there are a lot of machines. It is in a shopping center & the parking lot can get busy on weekends. Three different size washers, the smallest is $3.25/load. The dryers are large & have a minimum of $2.00/30 minutes. Machines take credit cards or quarters.

Nice little spot. No tree cover. Good Verizon cell. Nice view away from the road.

This is a large public park with large parking are, childrens play area, outdoor pool, baseball fields, gor hours walking trail on the Nith River

Fill a bottle fountain inside the building with toilet.

Tried to stay for the night. Manager said 20 USD per night and argued entrance fee for today and tomorrow. Fee is 2 USD per day and person, would have added up to 8 USD for two days. Offered 10 USD he declined and we left

was pulled over - asked for Passport. When realized we are german, he said sorry for pulling us over and wished a nice trip. Do not know what they were looking for but they have been friendly all the time

Good spot to stop for a night. Nice views of water on either side. Big level parking lot. Next to the road but not too busy so we didn’t hear much traffic noise. There was no one else when we arrived at night but people showed up in the morning to kayak and paddle board.

Safe place for Motorhome, with potable water and place to discharge black water. Close to the tourist attractions of Brasília and facing Lake Paranoá.

Very very American campsite. Big rigs, fire pits, outside televisions and even a wrestling match (see pictures).
There is a pool, an arcade and bad wifi. We where in a weekend so maybe better on working days. But at least it’s another option on the east coast. We paid 42 dollar for a tent site without hookupsy

Great location with plenty of cliff side space. Short hikes to cape point and beach to the South with an old fort on cape. Locals rode bikes and walked by. Great mobile data connection. Flies aplenty but not the biters. Quiet night.

Le village est tranquille, la route éloignée que nous entendons un peu mais ne dérange pas.

Le parc est propre, y’a de la place pour camper sur le gazon, plusieurs tables de pique-nique. Pas d’eau, mais toilette sèche. Rien n’indique que nous devions payer ce 10$. Pour la tranquillité, y’a pas de doute, c’est tranquille!!

Slammed the gate in my face and rudely said “we’re closed” it was 5 min to 6pm. Would not have cared if she just said it nicely as apposed to slamming and rudeness. Will Not Ever stop here again.

The reservoir is dried up and the place looks mostly abandoned. You could still camp there, but there is no water at the spot and there are high winds at the spot. We didn’t stay
