Simple spot next to a forest road and corn field. Good for 1 night. Still hear the motorway a bit and Claro reception minimal.

In high season (summer) it’s the only “quiet” option in the valley. All other official campsites are extremely crowded.
Here we found some peace.

It’s a private meadow, established as an improvised camping by the owner (which comes at evening to collect the cash. We paid 35 for 3+tent).

The site offers some shade, best at mornings or evening (not much mercy at noon… just a few trees surely occupied by others in Summer).
There is a water spring in the land and pit toilets… Nothing else.
Can work for big rig also.

It’s next to the road but it’s not a main road and therefore quiet at night.

Very nice campground. Just spent a night at site 2 next to the creek. stayed here in Ram Promaster conversion, easy access. Price is $5 a night or $2.50 with senior/access pass by honor system. No Verizon cell service, luckily my Satlink picked up between the trees.

big rigs fill available.
smaller spigot is in between the two concrete shelters at the baseball field, per a local it is city water and drinkable. Clean, cold, and a fast tap. Would recommend!

To enter the hot springs is $7.75. Once inside they have public showers that you must use before going into the hot springs (soap on the wall). You can also soak in the hot and cold pools, but be aware they look just like regular swimming pools and get CROWDED. There's also a water fountain inside so bring your bottle :-)
Overall the price was worth it for me, especially after hiking sulphur skyline!

What a beautiful free campsite next to the river with firepits and picknick tables. We stayed one night, really really beautiful. Lots of free sites on weekend

Nice municipal campground with 30 spots. In the trees. Some sites with views of the bay. Pit toilets and one water spigot on site. Park with flush toilets adjacent to this. $20 per nite. First come first serve. Turns are tight, so rigs over 24’ may be challenged for most sites, although bigger rigs can make some sites.

Small and quiet while only 100 yards from the gravel road. The exact site of this location has room for 1 or 2 vehicles and a tough turn around for a 170 Sprinter. Also numerous other side roads with larger sites along the main gravel road.

this place is open. was just here, lots of traffic over the weekends but quiet at night. This spot is WC1. WC2 is just up the road to the north, it's the only other wolf creek spot that is good for vans, the others are tent based (you can still stay at those but you'll be parking right on the road)

drive up to Mt Hough along a dusty dirt road through some burn areas. Enough room for 2-3 cars in this spot. A couple hundred feet from the lake. Nice spot if you want seclusion.

fine and quiet spot. I've a grand caravan van and its fine for the first spot. After this, high clearance recommanded. very beautiful view and close to Denali Park.

joli spot sympa. avec un van type grand caravan vous pouvez allez sur le premier spot facilement avec prudence. après je recommande un 4x4.
belle vue et proche de Denali Park.

Ripped my GTI up to this spot. The potholes are big but not bad if you don’t rip too fast. Amazing spot as described. I sorted the kindling by width and made a sculpture for the next traveler. @justswartz

Stayed here for free last night, no problems. There were other RV’s and sprinter vans parked here too. It was a Saturday so some kids were lighting off fireworks nearby- nothing earplugs couldn’t fix though!

Was a great one stop shop for me; diesel fuel with standard nozzles at the front, larger nozzle diesel pumps and DEF at the rear of building, dump station and rinse hose to the side, also filled up on fresh water from the spigot at the rear of the building, there appears to be spigots on left and right sides as well. The staff has the spigot key inside and like someone else pointed out, it depends on who you talk to for the key. They also allow overnight camping at the parking lot in the rear, and was allowed to use their bathrooms until closing time at midnight. Nice & helpful = Red head female and young man with dreadlocks on night shift, also blonde girl with glasses the next morning. Try to avoid talking to the skinny bearded guy with shades, he mumbles and not one bit helpful.

Beautiful campsite. Next to a cold/ refreshing river. Just 2 km of gravel road to get in, which was fine. The site has fire pit, picnic table and a drop toilet. It’s small, maybe for one group. Definitely a good free camp. Thanks 🙏🏻
