Tried to stay for the night. Manager said 20 USD per night and argued entrance fee for today and tomorrow. Fee is 2 USD per day and person, would have added up to 8 USD for two days. Offered 10 USD he declined and we left

was pulled over - asked for Passport. When realized we are german, he said sorry for pulling us over and wished a nice trip. Do not know what they were looking for but they have been friendly all the time

Good spot to stop for a night. Nice views of water on either side. Big level parking lot. Next to the road but not too busy so we didn’t hear much traffic noise. There was no one else when we arrived at night but people showed up in the morning to kayak and paddle board.

Safe place for Motorhome, with potable water and place to discharge black water. Close to the tourist attractions of Brasília and facing Lake Paranoá.

Very very American campsite. Big rigs, fire pits, outside televisions and even a wrestling match (see pictures).
There is a pool, an arcade and bad wifi. We where in a weekend so maybe better on working days. But at least it’s another option on the east coast. We paid 42 dollar for a tent site without hookupsy

Great location with plenty of cliff side space. Short hikes to cape point and beach to the South with an old fort on cape. Locals rode bikes and walked by. Great mobile data connection. Flies aplenty but not the biters. Quiet night.

Le village est tranquille, la route éloignée que nous entendons un peu mais ne dérange pas.

Le parc est propre, y’a de la place pour camper sur le gazon, plusieurs tables de pique-nique. Pas d’eau, mais toilette sèche. Rien n’indique que nous devions payer ce 10$. Pour la tranquillité, y’a pas de doute, c’est tranquille!!

couldn't even step outside without getting attacked by mosquitos. if you don't mind that it has a nice lake & view. we didn't stay.

Slammed the gate in my face and rudely said “we’re closed” it was 5 min to 6pm. Would not have cared if she just said it nicely as apposed to slamming and rudeness. Will Not Ever stop here again.

The reservoir is dried up and the place looks mostly abandoned. You could still camp there, but there is no water at the spot and there are high winds at the spot. We didn’t stay

good for one night, little dusty in the dry Seasons, some trucks. safe.

Stayed two nights here, it was really relaxing with the breeze and the lake waves lapping the rocks. there are lake gnats and mosquito's, but what else do you expect in July? there were some late night visitors on Friday night but no parties or loud activities just could hear people driving and opening car doors.
1 bar of cell service on Bell, clean area, be aware of wildlife

I got here late last night in a downpour (w/ thunder and lightening). Pulled into the visitor center parking lot (because it was the first place I wanted to stop) and there were no "no overnight parking" signs. I stayed last night and due to it continuing to rain all day today, we are still here (we have just been in the camper relaxing) and will sleep here again tonight. I visited the Visitor Center today and it was not an issue. We will be driving up to the Arctic Ocean tomorrow when it isn't raining (knock wood). The store is about a 10 minute walk from here (not fun in the rain though ;-). I had full T-mobile service. The visitor center had coffee when I went in and we also got our 5% coupon for "Bobs" and our Arctic circle certificate :) There is no wifi. If you stay here, please do not trash it!

Typical logging rd. camping area. Nothing too special. But if you need a spot to stay as you're driving thru it's not bad. First spot in the trees, used to be cool. There's a lot of garbage now🤬
Further up there's a few good spots, at the end of the roads. Lot of it is overgrown, some spots used for shooting ranges.

Washed my RV here after a 3000 mile trip through Canada. They did an excellent job cleaning the dirt, bugs out. Highly recommend this place. Didn’t have any wait time in evening.

Pretty quite here. No one bothered me last week so
I wanted to stay again this week. A total of 2 nights.

We stop here for a hood stuck problem. The team was amazing to help us and they challenge us on how we loaded our trailer. We went to buy a trailer basket. They help us to instal it and renforce it (welding and so on).
So professional.

They are specialist on volvo but do as well others car.
They are doing a lot of DIY so definitely a good spot for vanlife.

Descriptions are accurate. Tonight , everyone is on their best behavior: stealth, quiet, windows covered, and closed down. No generators at this time. Many sizes and types of campers. Thank you, Cabelas, for the privilege of staying here. Please, people, keep it on the down-low so others can stay a night. Pack it out, do not clog their trash bins, please. Keep It clean. This IS a gorgeously landscaped parking lot!!!

nice quiet site on the lake. this is a "user maintained" site, but the pit toilets are clean. a few other campers but still very quiet.

Ideal stopover, very busy tonight, car park is full, gas prices are fine also, shop, showers and restrooms. Free Wi-Fi

We stopped here around 15:00 in the afternoon, about one hour later a lady came in and tried to block our van by parking right in front of us. She seemed angry but she did not talk to us, she had her phone out to take a picture of our license plate. She stormed off behind the green gate but she left her car there. We managed to back up a bit and get out while she was gone. Not sure was that was about but it was probably an angry local.

Open 8AM-8PM every day. Clean! Amazing amenity to have in town. Keep it nice :)
