I stumbled upon this place from iHunter as it is designated as crown land. It’s a beautiful large gravelled area with fire rings along the coast on the side of cliffs (warning) but it is safe if you are safe.

As we couldn’t get the morning ferry to NFLD we had to stay 2 nights in the area. While waiting for the ferry to NFLD next morning we were asked by a very friendly officer to leave as someone had complaint. He mentioned that it’s private property.
However, we did stay there the night before without problems
Very quiet. Road a bit rough coming in. We may have taken the wrong road but we did see another rig up on the hill.
Only about 15 minutes from ferry which is great if you are arriving at 6pm.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. right on the cliffs. tons of room. a little bumpy driving in.
Report Check-InCame in late after sunset so was a little tricky and bumpy getting parked. Rained a lot through the night and quite windy however in the morning was a spectacular view!! As stated previously be careful around the cliffs. In the morning we saw a Princess cruise ship and also watched some seals in the water. Large area to stay overnight so can hold many campers of all sizes. 2 other campers were here as well.
Report Check-InA nice spot. Just one other van on a Tuesday night. Windy, so maybe not great for a tent, but no problem in a van. Nice views, no bugs, a few locals coming and going on ATVSs in the evening but quiet at night. Would stay again.
Report Check-InGreat views of the ocean. Keep safe distance from cliffs. police did comme due to a résidents complaint but was overfliendly and didn't mind we stay for more nights.
Report Check-Innice little spot for over night . quiet and easy for a pit fire . careful with the cliff .... keep your dog on leash .
Report Check-InGreat location with plenty of cliff side space. Short hikes to cape point and beach to the South with an old fort on cape. Locals rode bikes and walked by. Great mobile data connection. Flies aplenty but not the biters. Quiet night.
