Turnpike rest area. Google faq says no overnight for passenger cars (3 hours max) but decided to chance it after a 12 hour push since was exhausted. At least half-dozen vehicles set up for sleep around 10pm with no hassle from night patrol. Had great sleep. Relatively quiet given proximity to entering/existing trucks. Services (stores) have limited hours. Tesla chargers available.

Amazing spot right on the water, super quiet. Access to showers and bathrooms a short drive away. Permit required during summer season, but well worth it.

Stayed here last night. There were probably 15-20 RV’s. It was a quiet night, but around 4 a.m a train did pass by. And, at 6 a.m the garbage dumpsters were emptied very noisily. Maybe just a Friday morning thing.
Close to all the shopping.

Vista de tirar o fôlego, foi a primeira vez que dormimos fora de um camping na nossa Kombi. Noite tranquila com muito vento vindo do mar. Dormimos ao lado de outros motorhomes que estavam no local. Não há qualquer tipo de suporte, sem pontos de água ou energia, totalmente wildcamping. Durante o dia muitas pessoas passeando pelo local, coloque seu veículo mais longe se quiser privacidade. Breathtaking view, it was the first time we slept outside a campsite in our van. Quiet night with a lot of wind coming from the sea. We slept next to other motorhomes that were on site. There is no support at all, without water or power points, totally wildcamping. During the day many people strolling around the place, put your vehicle further away if you want privacy. BLM parking. Hwy 158 south end. Turn right on first right on black top. Pass the campsite road on the left. Take the next right on to gravel that runs along the power lines. Nice area with many sores to park about 1/4-1/2 miles back. Very nice and quite.

Nice simple campground on the river. Clean bathrooms and showers. short walk to the (huge) river. Relatively cheap. Very quiet. Easy bike path. Nature center. Great for an overnight stop and dip in the river.

An absolute MUST stay place. Beautiful property set in a small village...complete with English Pub! Fantastic people Tracey and John with an incredible place to stay. Highly recommended.

Local muito agradável de passar uns dias ,tem banheiro no centro de atendimento ao turista que você pode utilizar,torneira de água na praça,local pra estacionar gratuito,e no poste de iluminação publica tem uma tomada de energia,ao descer o farol tem dois chuveiros na beira da praia que dá pra tomar banho de água doce,e fora o lugar que é muito lindo.
A internet pega bem,tem restaurante e quiosques no entorno, mercadinho,padaria, açougue, peixaria próximos da praça.

Stayed here 2 vehicles. Well hidden from road if desired. Quite road anyway. Never saw anyone either the hour after arrival before dark or the morning after

Worked well for our purposes: quiet, private, and relatively shady, which meant we could sleep with windows open and fans on (No A/C and it has been very hot lately). We stayed on a sort of loop slightly south of the one with picnic tables and parking areas, because it had more trees. It wasn’t fully flat but we used some blocks and got close enough. There is a 3mi trail around the lake for morning exercise. Easy to access off HWY-56, although not well signed. We found best access was via a dirt road, 116 RD. 1-2bars VZN LTE.

Very nice treed, well spaced park. BUT don't be fooled, there is no beach, unless you have a boat to get to the outer side of canal. You could swim in canal, but it's murky and has crabs and turtles. Showers and bathrooms great, staff leaves you alone, dog friendly. Site 83 is probably the best for view, privacy and waterfront. Sunsets are amazing!

Walnut canyon NPS/ NFS,
1/4 mile off main road Route 66.

Great location To overnight and to dump and fill

Quiet, off the road. Some ruts from rain but dry now. Would not want to park here if wet and muddy.

Great little spot! Quiet, pleasant and shady. Only three spots, but we were alone. River behind and field of crops in front.

Vert quiet. Large parking for 4-5 small VR. Beautiful view on sunset-sunrise. A lot of whales.

Cute and quiet spot to sleep for the night! Like other reviews mention, the sign says the gate closes at 8pm but there was no gate. A cop rolled through at about 9:30, did a lap and left so I think it's totally good to stay overnight as long as you keep things clean and quiet. Beautiful lake to wake up to!

beautiful, safe place just off I25N. as previously mentioned, no facilities it's a parking lot, but right next to a beautiful green field.

nice spring to fill up water. just park on side of road and take a short walk to the pipe. saw a couple other people filling up there at the same time I went. easy and right off the highway

Camping com ótima estrutura! Cozinha com geladeira e fogão. Banheiro limpo e com água quente. A vista é perfeita! Arrodeada por montanhas, pés de banana e laranja. Uma cachoeira a menos de 30 metros. O Sandro, dono do local é uma pessoa muito generosa e solícita. O lugar é de uma tranquilidade sem igual! Muito perto do parque onde tem trilhas, caverna e escalada (conglomerado). Esse é lugar é perfeito! a internet é 10/10!

a van and an overlander rig we're occupying the site. there would be no room for me to turn around with my 20-foot travel trailer so I camped up by the paved Road on a level site in the woods.
