Just before you reach the lighthouse there is a fairly well wind-protected site behind a high earth wall on the left. Existing fire ring (bring your wood) otherwise no infrastructure. Nice view of the sea and the lighthouse. There are several more sites with nice views but some with less wind protection on the way to the lighthouse. Gravel parking adjacent to the Powles Head Lighthouse. Viewpoint for Trepassey Bay. 4 bars connection TELUS.

Vert quiet. Large parking for 4-5 small VR. Beautiful view on sunset-sunrise. A lot of whales.
Report Check-InAttempted to stay here In our 35ft fifthwheel. Gravel road for the last 4km in. Site was flooded out from the rain they had that past few days. was tight to turn around. Probably not suited for larger rigs and be warned if it's rained recently.
Report Check-InThis is an awesome spot. The weather was fabulous that day which helped but the view was amazing. Walk up to the lighthouse and go to the right down into the meadow. It was beautiful.
Report Check-InGreat place to camp with our 19 feet travel-trailer and pick-up. Drive slowly when descending to campground there are huge potholes.
Great view!
So peaceful we can only hear the sound of the waves and the wind. Wow! We saw a fox!
