Parked here for one night in our 25 ft camper van from about 10 pm - 11 am. Lots of room all along the road for parking with some level spots a bit further away from the dog park. No problems staying there but the traffic is pretty loud and cars would shake our van if they drove by really fast. Still had a good nights sleep though. Good spot super close to Monterey.

El taller está abierto de 8 - 18:00 hrs. Después de eso, si hay espacio al interior, puedes dormir con tu carro al interior del taller, tiene baño y ducha habilitado y wifi. Afuera del taller hay una parada de buses y a 400 mts existe la línea de “Trole” o el sistema público integrado de Quito que te conecta con toda la ciudad. Durante el día tienes que sacar el carro, afuera del taller es una calle alterna, con poca circulación.

Pull out on the forest road (on the left when going up) more than a pull out it is a little clary surrounded by trees, so beautiful. Could also fit a few tents

Would recommend a 4x4 as the entrance is a bit bumpy after a forest road.

Nicest border crossing I ever experienced. They get very little tourists so they seemed to enjoy my arrival. No commercial traffic, so very quiet border.
I camped on the Angolan side of the border. Very safe. No fixer, only border officers living I small white houses.
Thd road from Menonge h
to Katwitwi is first 150 kms of asphalt then ut gets tough, but doable. Took me 10 hours. Its a cool experience but I really wouldn't want to do it during the rainy season. I did it on a motorcycle and struggled with the sand. Many lovely villages on the way. Very friendly people.
Entry to Namibia was equally easy. They stamped my Carnet. wanted 215 NAD for the road tax, but they don't take card or any other currency. I made a deal with some USD - made it a bit expensive for me, but nothing bad. On Namibian side it's perfect asphalt all thd way to Rundu. OBS. You can buy petrol at the border on the Angolan side. Just ask around. You will pay double price, but still ridiculously cheap compared to any other country.

This place should be permanently closed. Made the PITA drive to get down here at 4pm on a Friday and there must have been 200+ people here. Unreal. Garbage and toilet paper all over the place. People blocking the roads to get anywhere. We turned around and left and will never attempt this on a weekend again. Possibly try to check it out if we’re around here on like a Tuesday or something but not likely since it might not have many people but will probably be trashed. Wouldn’t want to attempt this road in wet conditions.

A cleared area right off the highway opposite the T intersection. There are a few spaces with access to the river and some fire pits. Looks like it gets a decent amount of local use, but it's good for a night. Apparently it's a good spot for fishing.

4-5 treed and sheltered sites along southeast side of Bear Trap Lake. No washroom facilities but there is an non-concrete boat launch and bear-proof garbage at the turnaround. Our two German Shepherds could be loose without disturbing others. The second site in on the lake is nice and flat. We'll go back.

A la orilla del lago hay muchos espacios para estacionar. Dormimos un poco más al norte que éste punto y estaba mejor. Más privado. Noche silenciosa a pesar de estar al lado de la carretera. Aunque suene increíble, hubo muy pocos mosquitos, para nada molestos, fué un gran extra para este tiempo del año. La vista dormir junto al lago vale la pena.

There are several pullouts through the lake. We slept a bit northern than this point. It was better, more privacy. Quiet night even that you're next to highway. It sounds unbelievable but not many mosquitoes, it wasn't bad at all. A big plus for this time of the year. Worth the stop sleeping next to the lake.

tem energia, água potável, banheiros limpos, mesas e churrasqueiras, pode acampar e dormir com motorhome, basta fazer um cadastro na recepção que é uma casinha bem na entrada.

We stayed two separate nights. (Not consecutive. We didn't want to overstay our welcome.) The views were beautiful. It was fun watching the locals fish the next morning. Quiet and peaceful both times.

Open also for cars, very fast, almost nobody there. Only turkish side was a bit confusing and we needed to pay some traffic fines about which we didn't know.

Slept 2 nights here very calm, safe and close to the old town

Les douches sont recouvertes. Très propres. Nous nous sommes garé au place 30 min gratuites à côté de l’église. 1$/5min d’eau chaude. ( il y a une table à langer)

Large campground with plenty of sites to choose from. Campground host on duty. Gets busy on the weekend. Good Verizon & decent TMobile service.

é um estacionamento que tem vários Motorhomes e outros tipos de veículos.. é possível ficar a noite, dormir no veículo, eles tem alguns pontos de água e luz.

We loved this camp spot. Quiet nights, beautiful stars, dip in the lake for a shower if you need too. Great alternative to PanaCam which is too expensive in our opinion. Friendly locals, and folks stopping for a photo. We spent 5 nights here!

Pretty full on a Friday night. Lots of rigs with slide outs and full camping setups. Hmm… Parked in overflow area with a few others but left early in the morning.
