We booked a campsite for the night but on arrival we decided to move on.

Beautiful lake, nice forested area, but lots of mosquitoes. Still $12, firewood is $15. It was lovely listening to the loons at night.

An access road to the Mississippi River off of I-90E in Chamberlain. The gate was open, take the gravel road down to the river. I stopped at a turn around spot but you could drive all the way down to the river if you were confident it wasn’t going to rain. Turn around spot is easy for any vehicle, further down gets a little steep, rutty & potentially muddy. Seems to be a popular fishing location for locals. A few trucks here at night that left at dark and one or two came at day break. Besides that, no one came around. Some road noise from the Interstate but not very noticeable. Great view of the sunset. Only 1.5 miles from town. If you have any fishing or boating equipment this would be a good spot for you! Spotted a little deer family grazing in the evening. Free. Nothing posted about no overnight parking. 2-3 bars AT&T, no issues with connection.

Big rest stop w/ pit toilets (stocked with tp!), picnic tables, room to stretch your legs. Lots of other folks parked for the night. Tons of room. Brightly lit but not an issue with window coverings and makes it feel safe. Hwy not too busy at night. 3G cell signal. Mosquitoes surprisingly tame!

Nice little campground. $50 tax in for 3 services. Quiet and on a lake. Pull through sites allow us to stay hooked up 60’+. Friendly staff.

So close, yet feels so far away from the hustle and bustle of Estes Park. This very popular campground is located at an elevation of 8,300 feet at the end of a beautiful road just west of town. There are wonderful views of the snow covered peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park and access to the East Portal Reservoir which has ample opportunities for fishing. This double loop campground offers shady sites suitable for tenters and campers with small RVs and trailers shorter than 22 feet in length. It is especially well-suited for families and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore nearby nature and trails in Rocky Mountain National Park. Sites at this campground open up to views of Rocky Mountain National Park and starry nighttime skies. A mature blend of ponderosa and lodgepole pines interspersed with groves of aspens makes it a wonderful home away from home. It is an ideal setting for guests seeking recreation and relaxation. The camping season runs from Memorial Weekend to mid-September.

Every campsite has a fire ring, a picnic table, and a bear-resistant food storage locker. Tent sites have designated tent pads. “Big Rig” full hookup campsites with water, electric, and sewer are available at the Estes Park Campground at Mary’s Lake with 30/50 amp service and a 20 amp GFI outlet. Partial hookup sites with water and electric and 30 amp service are available at both campgrounds. Dump stations are also available at both campgrounds. ADA accessible sites are also available.

$5 for a rec swim and showers in the locker room. Showers are communal, but there is one the women’s locker room that is sort of private (long, narrow stall with walls on three sides).

Stayed here for 4 nights in a row without any issues. There were at least half a dozen other RVs/campervans parked overnight each night. We actually parked for 2 straight days (over 48 hours) and just took public transit to various tourist destinations around the city. There are no time limit or “no overnight parking” signs posted. This vista point is very busy with tourists during the day, but fairly quiet from about 9pm to 9am. Felt very safe, especially with all the other boondockers around.

Beautiful, secluded area, but Google maps doesn’t take you to the right place. Better to use Gaia GPS. We ended up at a trailhead that led to the lake. Couldn’t get next to the lake as the road was blocked by large boulders, preventing anyone from driving down there.

Open, free and easy to get to and use. Both water and dump, don’t need to be staying at shallow bay, as it’s outside the campground.

Plenty of space next to a small river, lots of shade and hardly any people, even in high season. Fresh air from the mountains and perfect temperatures after hot and dusty Cappadocia.
One of the best places I have been in Turkey.
Not as much garbage as you would expect.
Mobile network not stable, sometimes 4G, sometimes zero.

Rest stop on I40 west bound. Level parking, picnic tables, bbq pits, water fountains, restrooms, shade pavilions, restrooms, tornado shelter and beautiful view.

A absolutely great place to stay for one or more nights. Also if it seems to be military area.

endroit. Pas de service mais à 5 minutes de marche tu as une super vue. Le sentier de la croix est aussi à faire avec son chien.

Dead end road serving some apartments and townhomes with street parking on either side. Tenants park along the street so stealth camping there isn't very suspicious. Spent a peaceful night there in our prius.
Note: We spent the night during summer break. There's a school at the end of the street so it may get hectic in the mornings on a school day.

Big parking lot. Not a lot of shades. Able to find leveled spot. There is a few other camping cars.

Awesome campsite! Like others said about 3 mi down gravel flat road. Vault toilets, no water, but nice level sites.

Super nice spot on the river. If you go around to the back by the cliff there’s a deep spot where you can jump off the cliff. There were only 3 people coming overnight but by noon the place was full of swimmers. Don’t need 4WD, 3 bars of Verizon service.

Wonderful lake, very quiet and many parking spaces! It’s officially not allowed to camp but nobody won’t say anything if you take your rubbish away.

We came here in a 22ft long converted ambulance. I trie to find parking at the typical places around polanco, condessa, and roma norte. I even went to the airport. Dont do that if your vehicle is tall. No parking. Around 9:30 I went to the parks at chapultec. They have plenty of parking, make sure you cash for parking. The policia went out od their way to help me park my vehicle. 37 nights cost 350usd. Gated secured parking with security. I dont fully understand the policia involvement but I paid a parking attendant and the policia escorted me to get cash.

Family run campground with nice people. Great location.

Though already marked as closed, the GPS icon on the map is also not close *at all* to the umpqua lighthouse state park (which is on the coast, nearish Reedsport). Thank you!

Rest area off freeway with bathrooms and picnic tables. A bit of noise from traffic which is expected. Signs say 8hr parking came late and left early without any issues good place to stay for a night.

Nice, quiet place to sleep. Porta potty on site. Picnic tables. Benches overlooking the water. Plenty of parking.
