[email protected] | One of the two spaces is cleared out and available. Really nice spot with some level spots for either cowboy camping, a van or tenting. The other looks like a junkyard and may be abandoned. |

RunningGunExpedition | Good hot springs, pretty far removed from anywhere. From what the miners that were here were saying it’s pretty busy usually. There’s a pit toilet but no TP. Pretty easy to get a larger rig level. Road in is easy. Okay cell service (Verizon) loads Spotify quickly and video slowly in the right places. Springs are fairly clean as far as natural springs go, they’re adjustable if you bring towels to block the stone waterway. Didn’t see any leeches as described by another reviewer. Lots of biting flies though |

richelleisel | Great quiet place until the very nearby train roars by every 45 minutes literally all night. Earplugs don’t even help! If you want sleep, go elsewhere. |
Gracian’s grill | 35.12976, -118.43335
vananhthai | super noisy on Friday night, people were in and out late at night, 3am, 4am, perhaps the people who go fishing. I couldn't sleep well at all for the night. The beach is rocky, sunset is beautiful, and there's a trail near by along the beach. The only washroom in the area is the whale interpretive museum, $5.75 tax included. The museum is small and nice, lots of information about whales and a short movie. It's good to educate ourselves how whales and dolphins are endangered by pollution, fishing etc. These magnificent animals need to he protected. I needed to use the washroom mainly so I went in, but ended up learning a lot about whales. Worth a visit. Washroom is for visitors only. There's a nice view of the harbor out of the museum window as well. |

Free parking on the weekends (the lot next to it is paid parking and has a farmers market on Saturdays). next to a library with free wifi. stayed for one night no issues. Noise from the bar quieted down around 11:30. Nice spot next to the water. Public restrooms open from 7 to 4 |

hashii13 | Great rec site! Big rigs skip past the first campground as it’s narrow with lots of stumps. We stayed in a newly built area as of July 1st (says a local repeat camper). Go along the south part of the road (turn right). Much bigger spots for rigs. No services and only one pit toilet. Very short walk to a suspension bridge overlooking the River. |
Cal-Cheak Recreation Site | 50.05968, -123.10026
live4extreme | No issues parking here, even saw couple 40' long RV. If on wknd, you can visit the giant flea market next door. Best part were the fresh (and cheap) fruits and vegetables! There's also outdoor movies, at least 4 giant screens with most recent movies... |
St Eustache parking lot | 45.57992, -73.86908
viclillo | Wonderful secluded Free Provincial Park campground - pit toilets - picnic tables - fire rings - very quiet - room for big rigs to tents - our Overland Rig enjoyed the journey here past the intersection where the First Nations group is protesting the pipeline - no issues passing by - security was present at the intersection where the protest takes place - using the Starlink system to post this - no cell service here - absolutely worth the effort to get here! |
Morice Lake Camprground | 54.09958, -127.45100
oldies-auf-achse.de | Still 30 Sol /night, see other comments about the very friendly family. We felt very welcome here, very good food, VERY simple bathroom, cold shower. Stayed 2 nights before crossing into Ecuador. Seems the only acceptable place between El Ñuro and the border - all other beach-roads we tried were very disappointing. |
