Stayed here the Sunday of Canada Day Weekend. Super quiet with only a couple of other campers. Great spot with kids splash pad etc. Washrooms were brand new and immaculate. Really enjoyed camping here for the night. Payment of $20 on an honour system is asked for campers. Small price to pay for this great spot.

Very nice and peaceful. It is not free…read signs on the washroom building. You pay at the municipal building on an honour system which many don’t seem to honour🙁. It’s $20 a night which is more than reasonable considering water and electricity! First come first serve except the Shawville fair (Sept 1-5), reserved and super busy! It really is a little gem of a park! Beautiful weeping willows, maintained grounds, a little stream.

Wonderful place quiet and clean with electricity, running water and tables. Toilet accessible all day and night very clean.

Donation is appreciated by the park. Please give some money and respect the place to keep this beautiful place.

Really Nice place. It seems not to be free though. Check the pics I added for the rules
chart. We thought IT was peaceful. Kids park Seemed fun.

Très belle place pour dormir.
Il y avait beaucoup de monde mais c'était très calme.
Il y a une boite à l'entrée pour donner ce que l'on veut
Les toilettes étaient propre

Very nice small place with abput 15 places, 10 of them with electricity and water. Not all places are leveled.
The big shelter in the middle of the place is a meeting point for locals also.

Autre endroit agréable et très tranquille. Le montant suggéré est de 20 $ par nuit. Faire un virement à la ville tout simplement.

Just wanted to add that it is free for tent camping only. if you use the hydro I would expect that it would be proper that you pay the fee.

This is a cute all grass park to stay a day or 2. I don't know where people keep commenting that it is free, if you read the sign there is a $20 honor system fee, collection box is located on a post beside the washrooms, and there is a dump station in front of the washroom. Sites are serviced with 30 or 50 amp and water, just make sure which one you have before you commit set up. The breaker box is located on a hydro Pole beside the Pavilion if you pop a breaker. Tere are about three or four most level lots in the very back corner all the way in, otherwise you are on a grade. We had no trouble with a 32 ft fifth wheel. Don't recommend using the washrooms as they were not maintained, otherwise everything else was pristine.

Great place for tents(free) and campers(20$ a night)! Electricity, water and bathroom are available :) super cute park! There is even an apple tree and '' prune'' tree for snacks ;)

WoW just too good to be true. We had a bad time searching for other spots around that were inaccessible and we needed this rest. Must be full during the weekend or the construction break. Hope everyone will take good care of this place so we keep it for ever.

Amazing spot for wild camping as described. It’s a free area (the donation box has been removed) with individual picnic table, garbage, electricity and water tap.

Washrooms and kids playground on site.

You can also have a shelter with picnic tables if it’s rainy.

Awesome park which is also a free campsite! There are nice allocated camping spots at the bottom of the hill under the trees with power outlets and water taps on white posts next to each spot! Toilet block with running toilets. Picnic benches under cover so you can cook in the rain! amazing spot, there is a donation box but the safe to put it on seems to be broken. Very quiet and we'll maintained. Only two other campers here while we stayed.
