Great spot up the road from Reuters FS Campground. Service road is easily accessed with most vehicles. The entrance is a bit further up than Google maps will show you. Great views but I pulled in late. The first two were occupied so I took the third. Didn't drive further so not sure what's all here. Usable Verizon and AT&T LTE. Life is good. Enjoy 🌲

water spigot in field below parking. Assuming it’s potable as it’s in a picnic area and has a drinking fountain attached. $7 per day Idaho State Park entry fee.
As an aside, There are also picnic tables in the shade here, a great area to paddleboard, and dogs are allowed to swim off leash as well (Only in the discovery unit of the state park). Great place to spend a hot afternoon.

Amazing place! The lake water is warm and the showers hot. Flushing clean toilets. Very nice grounds. So quiet! Massive Iguanas and dropping mangoes entertained us. We were here on a Thursday so not many people. Restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch but we never ate there. Probably the best campground we have stayed at so far.

Street parking in Mission District of SF. I slept on this street and it was relatively quiet and chill. Area is flat.

You can find parking on various small side streets in this vicinity, many of which are flat/level. (On the bigger streets too, but they’ll be more noisy).

Parking restrictions: in general, streets around here are 2 hr parking from 8am—9pm (sometimes only till 6 or 8pm, maybe) on weekdays, and no limit on weekends. There is also street cleaning which varies street to street, so make sure to look out for signs. Streets that directly border Dolores park have overnight restrictions based on height/length of vehicle.

Availability of spaces: If coming on a weekend or at night, you can have luck finding a parking spot around here. During the day on a weekday it will be tough.

Safety: can’t guarantee this is the safest neighborhood for your car, but it is at least relatively safe. The Mission is quite gentrified, to say the least, and there are expensive cars parked all over. Nevertheless, there are signs at nearby Dolores Park instructing you not to leave valuables in the car.

Bathrooms: Dolores Park has 2 sets of bathrooms, one on either end (near 18th st and 20th st, respectively).

If you find yourself a parking spot in this neighborhood: get a burrito at Taqueria Cancun or El Farrolito (might be some of the best you’ll east in CA/the USA), have ice cream at Bi-Rite, buy pastries and bread from Tartine (the line moves quick), eat Burmese noodles at Yamo. These are all $15 or less excursions - if you want to spend some money on a special meal, do a little internet research, as you’re in a neighborhood where it will be worth it to do so. Also, mill about Dog Eared Books (used and new). And hang out in Dolores Park in the early eve, where you can feel a little bit of the kookoo wacko energy that once defined SF and is perhaps still holding on by at a thread.

Great Spot, awesome view! Description and previous comments are accurate. There ist a "No Parking at any time" sign a few 10 meter or so south. Not sure, but it probably is meant for the paved turn out.

Overnight parking/sleeping in vehicle is allowed in Pt Reyes unless specified by signs on particular streets/areas. I confirmed this with the police in town, and then slept in this spot directly across from the police station : )

Nothing special, but town is quiet at night and there is access to lots of beautiful nature right nearby. Plus Brickmaiden Bakery in town is quite legit (open Thurs–Sunday, usually), and the bookstore here is quite good too, especially for nature-related material (fiction and nonfic).

Public bathrooms: in town, on Mesa Road. They are marked on Google maps.

We contemplated staying here but didn't. There was a (at the time) short water ford that would have been doable in a 2wd with decent clearance. We decided to stay at the spot a bit up-river instead. Luckily, since we had a rainy night and the river level came up by 30cm overnight. We wouldn't have been able to make it out in our car.

NEVER camp directly in a river bed.

Lovely spot, safe and friendly. We gave a 10 USD donation to Dr Steven. He told us overlanders are welcome, but to give advanced notice!

Free dump before the park registration, we we're also able to fill our water tank inside the park and use the showers. Nobody was in the office at that time so you should ask if possible.

We were staying for the night at the other lovely place 300 m north in the Sir Douglas Hazen Park (near the baseball field) when the police came at 11 pm to ask us to move because camping is not allowed inside the park and near the marina. They told us that we were allowed to sleep in this parking lot outside of the park.
So here we are! It’s a very quiet parking lot with no sign. OK for one night on the road.

A good stop between South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi. We received a very friendly welcome, hot water donkey for the showers which were hot, with a good water flow and clean. lovely big firepit which we shared in the evening with 4 other overlanders and thoroughly enjoyed sharing each others stories over a drink. The road is a little noisy. There is a lovely plunge pool with a bar and rooftop seating area with a view over the Luangwa river. We'll priced at 180 kwa pppn

Giant park with trash and bathrooms. There was also plenty of space for our pup to run. There were not a ton of people at the park and there is free parking all around the edge of the park. Decent Verizon signal.

As described, beautiful spot with a great swimming beach. Quiet at night. Several vehicles here on a sunny July Friday night but enough room to space out. Watch out for large sand pit that may be an issue for some vehicles. Down the dirt road were a few more occupied spots and at the end a larger area that looked like people have settled in long term.

If you know any vets in Europe, don't go there! We have visited vets in Germany, Bulgaria and Greece. This place is by far the worst veterinary practice we have ever been to. The animals there are treated as if they were slaughtered. Unhygienic (bloody, dried cutlery lying around, dirty work surfaces), totally cramped, noisy and horrible atmosphere! In addition, the animals being operated on are in the same room and howl in cages.

Do yourselves a favour and avoid the horror that we and our animal had to go through there. In addition to the unfriendliness and ruthlessness, the prices are more expensive than in Germany! Even if you are given a price beforehand, it is charged 10 times as much for exactly the same service in the end. The vets don't speak or don't want to speak English!

We were blinded by the reviews and the professional website, but it really can't be worse than in this practice anywhere else.

Sign does say no overnight parking but we were not bothered. I think it’s overlooked as there was another van and 2 RVs. Huge parking area. Bathrooms at Train Depot close with business hours. Highly recommend that if you stay the night you take in the play at Virginia City Players and the night walking ghost tour.

Look for a small track going off the main road, cross the gravel place we're it seems that some trucks turnaround. Continue on the small track wich is slowly being overgrown and you will find plenty of space. If you go a bit further thant this spot you will arrive on an old disused road wich we decided to use to pitch our tent.

A silent place right with a big freshwater lake.
It is possible to drive all the way down to the lake if you have a car that can go a little bit off-road.
After talking with locals. They didn’t mind that people camps her ass long ass they clean up after them selves.
A beautiful place with sun from early in the morning on to sunset at the summer.
