Large sandy spot next to the river. Some work has been done to protect the river banks with concrete blocks. The bridge has disappeared. Additional spot a bit further from the river. Few insects until sunset (but then, they were out in force). HWY 1 audible but not visible. Good for one night.

Parallel one-sided street parking with generous space sizes. Our 24’ van fit easily. We were lucky to find a good spot as other campers were also parked here, including an RV and another van. Overall quiet, but we were woken up pretty by some large trucks driving to the building at the end of the road. You can see Burlington Bay from this spot. No parking restrictions we could see.

Quiet side street on the Burlington waterfront. 44.48156, -73.22213

Wendy is a wonderful host! Lovely site - would stay again.

Google maps says take a right but that’s not correct. Take a left and you can see all the campers from the main road. Amazing spot.

There wasn’t a real park here in sight, just a small town street. We ended up parking in the senior center parking lot and it was quiet and didn’t see any people or even any cars go by.

Nice spots along the lake with picnic tables and fire rings. There is also a playground and dock to sit by the water. Wifi is pretty darn slow. Nice place to camp if the provincial parks are full.

A very comfortable hostal, owned by Aracely, an amazing friendly person, that goes beyond her duties to satisfy you. 14 US for 1 person, shared bathroom with hot shower. Communal kitchen with potable water, though Aracely can cook for you. Simple breakfast (croissant, jam, coca tea, coffee, juice and an egg) costs 3.5 US. Secure parking for motorcycles and a few cars. Groceries and fruits nearby. She arranges tours to the vulcanos around.

Mateospaxi Hostal -0.57062, -78.59850

Very nice, 2 big Rigs and another car on a wednesday, enough space. We got an Information sheet when we checked in that says you could also do laundry here. I've attached a photo. We tried the dinner buffet which is 34,95 (without taxes) each adult and has 4 fish/meat varieties, 4 vegetables, big salad bar and deserts. Everything we tried (so everything) was good. Breakfast buffet is 25,95 pP, but we didn't try.
Didn't see the bear.

Public beach parking lot. Wasn't too crowded during the day. GATES CLOSE AT 10:00PM SO YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN UNTIL THEY OPEN AGAIN AT 9:00AM. If you're ok with that it is a wonderful, free, legal, quiet spot to sleep for a night.

Bond Beach Park 43.55437, -71.47542

There is no a no camping/no parking after sunset sign here. It is marked “Nicasio Reservoir” so I imagine it applies to other pull-offs along this reservoir as well. I did not stay the night due to sign
