Nice campground under trees but very busy on weekends and no amenities. No water and no dump station so very expensive for what you get. $25 per night.
Very quiet when all campers turn off their generators.
Dump station with potable water available at Sugarlands Visitor Center until the end of the first November weekend.

Pleasant campground. Very unpleasant bathrooms! No showers. Cold water dish washing sink. Next to Little River which is rather loud!
Report Check-InTypical NP campground with limited amenities. No Verizon signal. Too many trees for Starlink to be effective. Keep it clean, yours too enjoy. Trash and flush toilets. Reservations rec.gov $30
Report Check-InWe stayed here two nights. Very quiet and peaceful.
It’s $30 a night now. Firewood is $10 for 6 small pieces.
The hike we did was very poorly marked with signage. We bought a trail map before we went, but we found ourselves on a trail that wasn’t listed on the map. There was no info as to how long or strenuous some of the hikes were. We have been to many national parks and this one had the worst info about the trails. We didn’t bother, but as we drove by some of the trail heads, there was no parking spots and traffic was very heavy.
We enjoyed the campground and the hike we did, but they really need to improve trail info.
Nice campground, was able to gather enough wood to make a campfire. Neighbors were far enough apart, so it wasn't too noisy, and we had the soothing sounds of a creek on both sides of our campsite. Bathrooms were clean, also had a sheltered dishwashing area, but only cold water. Nice to be able to camp nestled within the Great Smoky Mtns.
Report Check-InLarge campground. Some spots by the river so other than the river it’s pretty quiet. No cell service. Bathrooms are decent. They have dishwashing sinks but no showers. Most sites have picnic tables and a tent pad. Also pretty flat for peeps staying in their van like us :) got some pretty good shots of the stars
We came in late, found an empty spot and left early.
It’s a dead end with a cemetery at the road closure sign. 3/4 mile downs, it a left into another dead end with a burial home destroyed long ago. This is perfect for Evil Dead movie scene! Beware of this location is DEAD!!!
Report Check-InNice campground but kind of dark due to the mountains and tree cover. The dump and water are near the visitor station. The street from the campground to visitor station can be backed up miles at times. According to the ranger after dinner or in the dark is the only time it's clear. It was fine at 8 am when I left, but be aware. I also wasn't too impressed with the local hike, not a lot of views. I'll try a different campground next time but it was nice enough.
Report Check-InSplurged and got a site since there was availability at a site on the river and there isn't any free spots this close to the trailheads we were hiking the next day. Running water toilets and potable water at most bathrooms if you use jerry cans. Pretty quiet night.
Report Check-InVery nice campsite. No showers but the restrooms were very clean and there were very few people there. Awesome creek and fire pits. Will be back in May 2020 $25 a night. No cell, AT&T. Had a garmin I reach to send messages to family.
Report Check-InPay for parking in a forest..such a popular place could have done better than that - no showers, no water and less # of toilets which were shockingly stinky just too much pressure with number of campers ( it was Thursday).
Report Check-InNice campground under trees but very busy on week-ends and no amenities. No water and no dumpstation so very expensive for what you get 17$ per night.
Very quiet when all campers turn off their generator.
Dumpstation with potable water available at Sugarlands visitor center until the end of the first november week-end.
