Entrance to the National Park. On the way there tons of guides will tell you that you need to buy a guided tour because otherwise it's "hard" to get tickets. Ideally you make a reservation ahead of time on the Costa Rica national park website. We did not have one but were able to do it on a tablet that park rangers provided at the entrance. Fast and no issues. We saw tons of monkeys, birds, sloths and other animals even without a guide. I am sure a guide can spot more for you but since we are traveling with a toddler, we tend to not purchase guided tours...

Nice and cheap place for breakfast. Cheaper than mercado. Basic sandwiches with egg or avocado (palta) or cheese 1,20S, mango or papaya juice 2S, avena, kiwicha or quinoa to drink for 1,2S. Nothing fancy but we liked it.
You can also buy here snacks, cakes, sodas, candles for cake and toilet paper 😁

We drove to the Cape St. Mary’s parking lot. There is a large “no overnight parking” sign posted. So we went back up the road to this spot. Hard surface and large enough to fit our van, possibly another one next to us. It was quiet and VERY windy.

Camping of Praia do Puça. Its a river beach. 24km of sand and dirt road, but in good conditions. Day use is 30 pp, but you can camp. We payed 50 pp with our camper, but it may be more expensive on weekend and for tents. It has water, electricity, bathrooms, hot showers and a good camping area. Big rigs may have difficult in the road and cannot enter the main space, but can stay near it.

Nice and secluded though close to the Highway. There is one spot even further in and I think a small way to the ocean but I didn't go down all the way.
Lots of trash, please leave better than you found it!

Stayed one night here in a 4 door car. Large lot, don’t think there were any designated rv spots since it shares with lowes. Kind of a loud area due to being right next to highway, very foggy in morning. Otherwise great sleep!

This place was ok. 2 showers, but only one that worked. 3 washers, 2 that worked. Bathrooms were in okay shape. All operated by quarters and the coin machine was out of order. The pool was nice and warm, but closed on Thursday when we were there. (closed all Thursdays). Bar and hot tub greenhouse area was closed Thursday too, but it looked very nice in there.

Showers are up to 7$ for unlimited time. Fairly clean, but not spotless. Water is nice and hot, you have the room for yourself. But there is only one stall, keep in mind if you are a group of people. Water pressure could be a tad higher, but not that bad.

I set up my tent here about an hour before sunset. Pretty close to the road m, but no one bothered. Has a fire ring, is very accessible and pretty flat. Pretty good spot for a motorcycle traveler if you don’t care being seen.

One of the 3 offical campgrounds between Seydisfjördur and Borgafördur. Small grassy area near to a hut (open in summer). Toilet hut nearby. Water outside of the hut. Great place in the bay of Breiduvik.
Only for tents, but you can reach by 4x4

Very nice overnight stop! clean, well maintained, large gravel lot, clean flush toilet, pavilion, a couple picnic tables, nice view of lake. sign on pavilion says " primitive camping only". Also no ground fires. A little convoluted getting here from EB I-70, but Google maps easy to follow.
