This small spot is away from the road, leads to a trail / hike to beach. No amenities, road noise is present. Good for one night
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice spot for a night. Had 3 bars Verizon. Fairly secluded once you get into the trees. No problems at all, one other car down the road a bit.
Report Check-InStayed one night here. a few other cars there. gps on this is not exact. coming from north, it's a bit past the coordinates but there is atleast a sign for the turn in.
trail is overgrown and looks a bit sketchy. noisy because it's right by the road but very sparse at night, I just wore ear plugs anyway. pretty private otherwise probably only good for one ish night
Report Check-InAs one of the precedent comments says , the spot is a bit after the gps point.
Nobody was here, but we didn’t have any problems. It’s right next to the road so you can ear it but still good for one night.
Nice and secluded though close to the Highway. There is one spot even further in and I think a small way to the ocean but I didn't go down all the way.
Lots of trash, please leave better than you found it!
I followed directions from the check ins since the google maps takes you down a private property road. So I turned around went south, took a right down a dead end road. There were several signs saying no rv’s past this point unless you have a permit turn around. Now I need to hurry and find a last minute spot. Eek!
Report Check-InA paved, relatively flat road running parallel to HWY 101. The spot furthest toward the end is relatively buffered by trees, reducing the road noise, which dies down quite a bit after dark. Felt very safe and private for one night. 3bars VZN LTE.
Report Check-InSide road on the 101, parallel to it, on asphalt, room for about 3 vehicules. Very good for one night!
Report Check-InIf you’re northbound on 101, the left turn is certainly before the google map pin.
Southbound, right turn is after the pin.
2 bars Verizon LTE.
not super appealing at first sight, as it's just off the highway, but we had a great night!
you can actually see and hear the ocean from the spot. we got the spot closed to the beginning of the trail so we were pretty tucked in and not visible from the highway. another car pulled out later on and got the spot closer to the highway. both very decent spot to rest and spend the night
Excellent spot for a night. It's a road that goes parallel to 101. It didn't show up in any of my GPS apps. As you go south on 101 and you "pass" the point, slow down and you'll see a dead end road branching to the right.
Report Check-InWe couldn't camp in the campground where we were expecting to stay so we looked for another site in the area. Spent one night here in our B-van. It was just as described. There was one car parked there, but we never saw an indication that anyone was in it. The site was reasonably level and the road noise died out pretty well at night.
Report Check-InThis small spot is hidden from the road, leads to a trail / hike to beach. No amenities, road noise is present. Good for one night
