Wonderful place. One of the most beautiful camping sites we’ve been to. Gloria the host is very lovely and received us with some lemonade. Internet is good, showers and bathroom are good, water, electricity, internet, all good. And the view is just amazing. Highly recommend it.

Magnifique jardin de fleurs et de fruits. Accueil chaleureux et vue incroyable sur les montagnes. Delicieuse eau de source potable au robinet pour ne rien gâcher. Vaste coin cuisine avec terrasse. Merci Gloria !

C'est notre deuxième séjour chez Patricia nous sommes toujours aussi ravis de son accueil !
Il ne faut pas se laisser influencer par la petite piste qui mène à le finca : une fois arrivés c'est le paradis !
Patricia est très serviable et tout est fait pour qu'on se sente bien ici ...

Beautiful spot with great views. Gloria Patricia is a colourful and vibrant host. She picked some lemons off her tree and made us fresh lemonade as a welcome drink. Lots of grassed places to choose from for camping on her spacious lawn. We paid 25k pp.

Very nice place with an amazing view. Patricia asked us to write here that she has to rise the price from December onwards. It will new cost 25.000cop pp and the laundry will cost 10.000cop per load.

Little paradise, with birds, beautiful view and the sweetest host, Gloria Patricia. Lovely place to relax a few days and enjoy the moderate climate. Covered terrace in case it rains. Hot shower. Very clean.

Beautiful place! Cannot recommend enough. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and the garden is incredible. Gloria will make sure your stay is perfect from start to finish. Bathroom had warm water for shower, and there’s electricity and water available.

We stayed here one night and everything as described. Gloria is wonderful and welcoming you with a delicious jugo.
Could stayed here a week enjoying the views and listening to the birds.

We stayed here for one night and Patricia was super nice. Beautiful place, great views and quiet. Everything as described earlier. We just wanted to mention that we think a Sprinter size is about the max that can make it through the narrow entrance path to her property. Paid 20.000 COP pp/pn.

This is a great stop. Patricia will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Camping is great, showers are hot, toilets clean and the view is just beautiful. No problem to get there in our Sprinter. As mentioned, stock up before you go.

Patricia is an excellent host, as soon as we arrived to the property she offered us a delicious lemonade!!! The next morning, she give us some fruits. The property is an excellent location to appreciate the mountains and some parts of Manizales. We really enjoyed the stay here.

fantastic little spot! Great host has electric shower, toilets, wifi and a couple of places to chill. Patricia is so welcoming and kind there are plenty of options of rooms and our 7m ford transit had no issues reaching the place. Really recommend this place. fantastic host!!!

We stayed with Gloria for a week and loved it here. It's peaceful and cheap 18-20,000COP with toilets, showers, great internet and nice sloping land to pitch a tent. The views are great and Gloria will suggest lots of things to do around Manizales, including coffee farms and thermal baths. She also offers Airbnb and Workaway opportunities (separately). We did the last with lodging and lunch in exchange for 4hrs of work per day. Her food is delicious and very filling. She is very flexible and happy to accommodate to your needs. the Finca is located about 1km down the road from Villapilar (outskirts of Manizales). You can reach it by yellow Taxi from the centre of Manizales for about 10,000 COP or by bus for cheaper.

Nos quedamos con Gloria por una semana y nos encantó estar aquí. Es tranquilo y barato 18-20,000 COP con baños, duchas, Internet excelente y un terreno inclinado agradable para armar una tienda de campaña. Las vistas son excelentes y Gloria sugerirá muchas cosas para hacer en Manizales, incluidas las fincas cafetaleras y los baños termales. También ofrece oportunidades de Airbnb y Workaway (por separado). El último lo hicimos con hospedaje y almuerzo a cambio de 4hrs de trabajo por día. Su comida es deliciosa y muy abundante. Ella es muy flexible y feliz de adaptarse a sus necesidades. la Finca se encuentra aproximadamente a 1 km por la carretera de Villapilar (a las afueras de Manizales). Se puede llegar en Taxi amarillo desde el centro de Manizales por unos 10.000 COP o en bus más económico.

As described a very nice place with a very friendly host. Do not miss the entrance (see photos) turning around with our 6m campertruck was not easy.
Patricia gave us a lift to the mirador in manizales. For the return we took a taxi from the plaza bolivar (7000 cop) to the cafe el granjo and walked the last 1.2 km (20 min.) down to the chalet.

Patricia the owner is a very generous and warm person. She loves to have travelers over and offers immense respect to those who respect her and her home in return. The place is amazing in the backcountry of Manizales, and for the mere 20,000COP she charged for the night to camp, I would definitely come over and spend more time with her along with some friends. Muchas gracias Patricia.

The friendly neighbour from the store next to it let us turn back and call the woman. She in a really bad mood reject us claiming not receiving people with no prior notice "from IOverlander". We explain there is no way to let her know. She said she is working with airb&b only now. Looked really nice place. (Maybe bc of elections?)

It is a wonderful place, incredibly close to the city to encounter such a peaceful place in pure nature. Lots of flowers attracting birds of many kinds. For me it is about sitting in the garden and enjoy some coffe and relax. Gloria Patricia is a great host and makes you feel very welcomed from the beginning.
The facility have everything you need for a relaxed stay. And if you have any qestions about making a tour and visit places, Gloria can help you organize it.

This was our 2nd time here. The entrance is tricky in a couple of places and the road is narrow. It’s well worth the trouble though. Patricia charged us 18,000COP per person and 8,000 for a great breakfast. Stock up on supplies as nothing is in walking distance. Beautiful gardens and possibility she will drive you to town. Friendly dogs, friendly family!

A peaceful sanctuary just next to the city, the perfect place to rest.
We've spent two weeks here while struggling for DIAN and other papers. Beautiful garden full of flowers and colibris. Patricia the owner completely understood what overlanders need. Our two cats were very happy also to stay here :)

Nous avons passé 48 heures magnifiques au Chalet San Luis. Patricia nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et le lieu est magique : fleurs, oiseaux, panorama ... rien ne manque.
Patricia nous a même conduits à Manizales pour quelques courses.
Nous espérons que d'autres voyageurs vont bientôt nous suivre, nous étions les premiers de l'année !

If you want peace and quiet and incredible views and hospitality, this is it. The owner Patricia is very kind and welcoming.
She now provides the following
camping car Tent camping per person 17000 cop
Double bed Room with ensuite 80000 cop for two persons and 60500 cop for single person.
Double room , 2x single beds , shared bathroom 80000 cop for 2 persons,
Room prices include a breakfast.
Private detached Cabana with incredible views, sleeps 3 80500 per night inc breakfast.
a recently built covered mirador has been added which include a sink, gas cooker and bbq for campers etc. however you need to bring your own utensils. A refrigerator is available. Patricia can also provide additional meals at extra cost, see the photo of the menu. Beautiful place, beautiful owner, highly recommended for a bit f peace and tranquility.
We are 8m long and 2.45 high and really struggled to get down the last 100m of lane so I would be hesitant to describe this as big rig friendly. If you are just slightly narrower it will be no problem height until an issue. Hot showers are available for campers

A beautiful place in a middle of the mountains
Patricia is a wonderful host, lovely and she always wants to help you.
Her place is wonderful, peaceful and so quiet at night.
There is a kitchen but without burners. You can cook on a fire oven.
Lot of differents fruits in the garden and you can grab some.
Green space to park and you can plug your car too.
The road to go there is a bit tight. But you can easily do it if you are not to big!
Recommand this place for sure.

As described, super friendly host. Just adding a photo of the entryway as we missed it on the way down. Also, if coming from Manizales a larger vehicles can’t make the right turn off the main road — you’d have to go on and turn around somehow and come back up the hill. Look for the entry on your right just after the big slanted cement wall.

Patricia is absolutely fantastic. She has a beautiful house with a huge garden and great view. She’s really helpful and nice. She charges 17k pp to camp in your car. the toilets are basic but clean. Her house is very warm and welcoming. But she does request for people NOT to just show up without calling (+573104147774). It’s about 20 min from town and the road is a bit tight but we fit with our rig which is 2.90m high.

What a wonderful place and what an amazing landlady! We believe, after 1,5 years of travelling in South America, this is the best place so far. Incredible almost 360 degrees panoramic view over the coffee region. Patricia, the owner, has been spoiling us with fresh juices and coffee. Nice birds and colibris at the feeders. We are 6m long and 3m high and had no problems to enter. 7 by 3,5 will do also. Probably 8 by 4 too, you might have to deal then with one small branch along the entry road, not sure...

We stayed three nights at Patricia's. She is a very warmhearted hostess, such a lovely person! Her dogs are super friendly and cute. You camp in Patricia's garden which is a wonderful place. Spectacular views of the surroundings. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Clean bathrooms, hot shower. A quite and chilled place - I would definitely recommend it!

I rarely pay for camping but came here twice, it’s that good! Very tranquil & Patricia is a fantastic host, very relaxing place to spend a few days. Loads of walking / biking trails nearby & close to Manizales. Accepts dogs.

I stayed much longer than planned. It is a very special place- a beautiful garden, excellent views, no loud music, shining bathrooms, and , above all, a dedicated, warmhearted, generous, caring hostess. Wonderful!

It's a perfect place close to Manizales to relax in a quiet garden with birds and beautiful mountain views. Patricia is such a lovely host and enjoys to have people around. The bathrooms are clean and the showers run with hot water. There is potable water to fill your tank and Electricity to plug in. There is fast Wifi available. Patricia also rents out two nice little rooms which can be booked via Airbnb. There is enough leveled space for several vehicles. Dogs are welcome. This place was made with lots of love.
