Great quiet location! Road into the trail is paved so it’s easy to enter in the dark (we arrived at 1am after getting off the ferry). There’s a garbage bin and vault toilet located near the start of the trail, just past the interpretive sign.

A small public boat launch with jetty and small park. Nothing fancy but parking for plenty of vehicles, big rig accessible. Park has pit toilets that were locked. Signage requesting respecting the land, but no "no camping" signage.

Very nice big camping spots on grass. Clean ablutions with hot water. The showers a little bit cramped, specially the area to put on your clothes. Quite during the week, can be a bit busy on week-ends. Overall I would rate it 7 / 10..

after trying to enter the narrow path to fundo chicheros and realizing that our truck was to big for this, we asked the staff and stayed there for the night. flat space.

Pullout off Foothills Parkway close to Townsend. No signs saying no overnight parking. Pulled in around 8pm, watched the sunset, and slept in the backseat of my Honda Ridgeline - left at 6am with no issues. Pretty quiet with a bit of road noise from a town road below but not much in terms of traffic on the parkway road. Great spot - definitely recommend.

excellent camping offers spacious and grassy areas for motorhomes or big rigs, in addition facilities such as grills, tables and living spaces, swimming pool and sports grounds. the owner, Mr. Alceu is extremely attentive and takes care of everyone he receives. Undoubtedly the best option in this region.

Great place in a fab little village up in the mountains. Shady pitches, very clean ablutions and reasonably priced. Electricity and a wash basin / water point at each site. Owners were very helpful. Entrance is pretty steep so big rigs will struggle to get in.

Pemex with a large truck parking lot. It does get busy but it’s great for bigger campers as there is lots of room.

Still L1,100 per person and credit cards are accepted. Need to provide passport.

A gets-the-job-done spot for dumping tanks. it was hard to find the sewer hole at first. It's at the front of the car wash, right as you enter from the main road. It's nestled in between the bushes with a water spigot in the wall and a sign about paying above it. Payment is via the honor system although I honestly couldn't figure out where to leave it.

I don't know if the water is potable, but it's at least good enough for rinsing. They also have bays big enough to wash your RV if you're into that, including stairs to help you wash the roof etc. All coin operated though.

Camping in Dol pri Ljubljani is a small campsite located in nature just 15 min from the town, available for motorhomes, camping tents, cars or travel trailers. It's well equipped with everything you need: showers, toilets, washing machine, electricity & water supply, dump station (for grey and black wastewater), free WIFI internet access, large covered terrace with sits and tables, etc. Camper stop offers parking spaces on the lawn or paved surface (also possible under the roof). Good connections to Ljubljana town (BUS/train), bike rental, hiking options on nearby hills, rock climbing, guided yoga & meditation sessions, wine tasting, vegetables, musical evenings, and more. Also offers camper repair, wash, and indoor winter storage for campers

Santo Antônio gas station Sim, 24 hours, safe with water and bathroom with shower. very helpful and friendly staff.

This is the cutest beach, and supposedly the 2nd smallest one in the world.
The water gets here only during high tide, and you can enjoy a private beach if you’re lucky. Road to get here is narrow and you will get some tall grass touching your paint. No 4x4 needed, but if it rains, it may help.

Tou could pay €5 pp to take a picture, also you can consume some food and drinks.
I think €5 is a total rip off!!!

parking area for people in smaller rigs. unfortunately this week it is closed due to fire department training. check online for updates. ended up going to the Walmart a town close by.

replying to the last post, you can 100% drive from the tunnel.

RV park with free potable water fill at the entrance. Underneath tree at entrance with a double spigot. One side already had a hose attached. Confirmed with the office that it's both free and drinkable.

“No camping” signs posted at this spot and all along the road.

Memorial to commemorate the loss of 12 American Soldiers who drowned here in 1942 during the construction of the Alaska Highway.

This beach is very special. There’s a way to turn around here, and space for like 4 vans. Beautiful and super quiet place. Nothing but nature around you. Enjoy…

This area is signed as day use only. We stayed further up the road.

Police asked for our TIP and that was it. Fast and easy checkpoint.

Water fill station outside the visitor center. Only good for larger 1-5gallon jugs. Not for RV fill tanks. Restrooms on site as well. Lots of trails and an easy walk to Thor’s Well.

As described below, great dumping station. Easy and simple access from highway.

Forest Service campground with a few fire rings, picnic tables, and pit toilet. Large parking lot.

The road to the campground is mostly one lane. It’s paved but pretty windy. Big rigs might want to pass on this one.
